Summary: Jermajesty coming home from a long day and just being clingy with you because he misses you.
The apartment was quiet when Jermajesty finally walked in.
He shut the door behind him with a soft sigh, dropping his keys onto the counter like heād been holding the weight of the entire day in his hands.
You looked up from the couch. āā¦Hey.ā That was all you got out before he was already crossing the room.
āHi, pretty girl.ā He dropped onto the couch beside you and immediately wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you into him like he hadnāt seen you in weeks instead of just a day.
You made a small sound of surprise.
āNo,ā he muttered, burying his face into your shoulder. āDonāt āJermajestyā me right now.ā You blinked. āā¦What?ā
You softened without even thinking about it. Your hands slowly came up, resting awkwardly at first before gently settling on his back. āYou saw me this morning,ā you said quietly.
Jermajesty let out a dramatic sigh against your skin. āThat was a crime.ā You huffed a small laugh. āYouāre being dramatic." āIām being deprived.ā āOf what?ā
He finally lifted his head just enough to look at you. āMy girl.ā Your face warmed instantly āYour girl?ā
āMm-hm.ā He tightened his arms again like he was making a point. āThe pretty, shy, quiet one I like to bother.ā
āBother?ā you repeated, weakly.
He shifted again, this time sliding his head into your lap like it was the most natural thing in the world.
āā¦Youāre really tired.ā
āLong day,ā he admitted softly. āToo many people. Too much noise.ā Your fingers hesitated. Then gently ran through his hair. He melted instantly.
āOh,ā he whispered. āThere she is.ā āWhat?ā āMy favorite feeling.ā
āYour hands in my hair,ā he said simply. āFeels like Iām home.ā Your chest tightened a little. You didnāt know what to say to that. You kept stroking his hair.
After a moment, he peeked up at you. āYou miss me too, right?ā You hesitated for half a second too long. That was enough for him. Jermajesty grinned.
āI do,ā you admitted quickly. āI justā I was fine." āThatās a lie.ā
He poked your side gently. āYou were counting the minutes.ā āI was studying.ā
āFor what? Me not texting you enough?ā
āYouāre impossible.ā
He sat up slightly, still holding onto your waist like he refused to give you any space at all.
Then pressed a quick kiss to your cheek. You immediately looked away. āStop doing that.ā
āIām not doing anything,ā he said innocently. Then kissed your other cheek. āThis is just how I breathe.ā
āLiar.ā You tried to stay composed. You really did. Then he cupped your face gently. āHey, mama.ā You met his eyes. There it was again. That soft look.
The one that always made your shyness feel safe instead of small. āIām home now,ā he said quietly. āOkay?ā Your voice came out softer than you meant it to. āā¦Okay.ā
āGood.ā He smiled. Then leaned in and rested his forehead against yours āDonāt let me go again tomorrow, yeah?ā You hesitated, then nodded āā¦Yeah.ā
Jermajestyās smile widened. āGood girl." Your whole face went warm instantly. āDonāt call me that.ā
āNo promises.ā He pulled you back into his arms like he never planned on letting go again.
