Need help understanding your billing statement? 

No worries! The SFC can help! 

The Financial Aid office has posted yout billing statement on the “my bill” tab of your UC Merced student portal. 

Your "Authorized Aid Balance" is how much financial aid you have to cover your "Overall Balance". 

If the amount is negative under "Bill Balance" or “Pay Now” then that is how much you'll receive as a refund, but if it is a positive amount, then that is how much you need to cover out of pocket by Wednesday August 19th.

Tuesday, August 18th: Fall 2015 Deadline to Enroll in Deferred Payment Plan by 4:00pm

Wednesday, August 19th: Fall 2015 Payment Deadline -- Last Day to Pay Fees by 4:00pm and the First Installment of Deferred Payment Plan is due by 4:00pm

Sunday, August 23rd: Housing Move-in Day!

Monday, August 24th: ASCEND Conference for freshman

Tuesday August 25th: ASCEND Conference for Transfers

Wednesday, August 26th:  First Day of Instruction and Last Day to Cancel without Penalty

Have them wait while you attend you college orientation in the Lantern Cafe! It gets pretty hot here, ESPECIALLY during the summer! 

I noticed that some parents were waiting for their students in their cars, and that could get pretty hot!
