IThere probably aren’t going to be any legit resources out there. The American heart association recommends practicing on a dummy training mannequin, and of course this is the SAFEST option. The risks of practicing cpr on another person include injury from breaking ribs, and that’s no fun.

My non scientific unexpert opinion is to start slow and communicate with your partner. For compressions, find the appropriate placement on their chest but leave the fingers on the bottom hand spread wide to distribute the force across a wider area of the chest. Only push about half as hard as you would have for real. If the “victim” feels discomfort, pause to readjust hand placement or modify the depth of the compressions. You might have to readjust between cycles if you’re giving rescue breaths. Also, he victim might be more comfortable if practicing cpr on a bed. The springs from the mattress will help distribute some of the force too.
