So in August last year, I invited what I thought at the time, was a friend over to stay for a couple days, because he told me he had just been evicted from his home. I was helping him out so he could then go to find help without having to worry about where he would sleep. I was worried and concerned for him. Everything was fine, until the second day he was here, when I started to feel very ill, and was coming down with a chest infection, which in turn meant I struggled to sleep because I do have Asthma.

 That night, I took 2 codeine tablets to take any pain away and to help me get to sleep. Little did I know what was going to happen whilst I was getting to sleep. The person who I’d let stay in my home, his name is Jordan Nicholson/Lyon, decided that at this moment where I was half asleep, he’d take advantage of my situation, a situation where I had very little fight in me, where I was exhausted and ill and lay in my bed, to Rape me. Now I wont go into detail about what he did to me, as it is incredibly distressing for me to speak about, but he anally raped me, pulled out, went and cleaned up, came back and went back to sleep, he left me there, in shock, still pretending to be asleep, not moving from complete fear. This moment, has completely changed my life, it has effected me in so many ways, I now suffer from PTSD, I have developed OCD from feeling unclean and disgusting. I can’t sleep properly at night. I have nightmares about him, flash backs to that moment. It makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I did go to the police, I told them everything, I told them what he did, i even had text evidence of him admitting what he did to me, but they never took on my case. They gave me a piece of paper and said that these numbers can be called if i needed help, but no where was there anyone who could help me with something that really haunts me to this day.

The bed that I was raped in, I still have to sleep in it, because I cant afford a new one, I have thought of just sleeping on the floor many times when ive been lay there at night freaking out about the fact that, this horrible event happened right here. 

So here is where I really need help, I desperately need to get a new bed, because having to sleep in the bed I was raped in, is ruining my life.
