Oof, well that was certainly a difficult episode to get through. Makes sense that iut was called "Down" cuz everything just went downhill from start to end. Glad that Walter and Jesse have at least reconciled.
I'm really kind of surprised Jesse didn't just give up on Walter altogether and just make his own stuff. I guess he knows he'd make more with Walter's cooking skills. And maybe Walter serves as protection sorta? Walter's kinda been a live wire, getting pissy and being rude. He pressured Jesse into working with Tuco in the first place, but he also went after Tuco and fucked up the man's base of operation just to make back what he stole from Jesse...
Here's to hoping Walter just... tells Skylar she was right about the fake phone. He doesn't have to tell her the whole truth, but trying to gaslight her and then sweep it over with a bunch of little breakfasts and tasks and stuff isn't gonna "mend the fence." Just tell her you had a fake phone to keep contact with Jesse Pinkman, your weed dealer, and that you won't be contacting him anymore.
Anyways... praying that the next episode picks things up again. I hate seeing Jesse go through it, he's been getting the short end of every damn stick. He deserves a break, he really does.
