&. Biography.

Cameron Baxter is a firm believer in one thing- if safety is guaranteed, the action is worth nothing. There is nothing she loves more then feeling adrenaline rushing through her veins. Her parents have always been risk-takers, her father, a muggle, being a thrill seeker and her mother taking up a profession as an Auror. From an early age, she was often found hunting for vines around cliff edges or rappelling down trees with skipping rope. These antics have often gotten her in trouble, both inside and outside of Hogwarts.

Some of her attitude towards life is a mask, to hide the event that occurred years ago. When she was sixteen years old, Cameron persuaded her sister, Elizabeth, to break the rules and sneak into the woods. Elizabeth nibbled on a poisonous plant, and barely survived the toxins. After that, she continued to pursue daring feats, but keeping them in secrecy. A few years after graduating Hogwarts, she was offered a post at the school, which she took gladly.

Cameron is bothered by almost nothing. No matter how many times a student attempts to taunt her, she usually responds coolly and carefully. She is very understanding and has a desire to understand and connect with her students, while encouraging them to take risks. She treats her colleagues like siblings, and is especially close to those who are Gryffindor alumni. Her last wish is for pupils to be afraid to talk to her. Along with her courage, Cameron also has a kind heart.

&. Relationships.

→ KATIE STONE: best friend. Katie is one of the few people whom she can trust, without a doubt. She welcomed Cameron into the staff with an open heart. She is also the first muggle who has become close to her.

→ MARCUS HASTINGS: crush/old friend. Cameron knew him in her time at Hogwarts, and was delighted to see him again on the faculty. She developed feelings for him over time, but has no intention of telling him any time soon.

→ GRACE HARLINGER: partner in crime. She often advises Grace about her stunts, and vice versa. The two have bonded over their love of a good laugh, and Cameron has grown fond of the professor’s quirky personality.

“Don’t worry about that. The headmaster is already discussing security endorsements and an official investigation is being conducted at the Ministry, Mr Harding.” Cameron paused. “Although, I see where you’re coming from.”

“Alright. I guess.” Ian sighed. “Do you at least have any idea of when she’s going to wake up?”

“She’s going to be okay. Don’t you worry.” 

“A-and what if she’s not?”
