LEVI: i wasn't my FAULT i didn't realize it was him!

“i’ll get you a refill when you tell me what kind of fruit you are based off these ten questions,” she joked in reference to the ridiculous posts and quizzes. breezy took the glass from the gentleman and placed it in the sink beside her. grabbing a clean one from the cooler, she glanced up at him. “i’m glad you took my suggestion. it was bit of an experiment, but i see it turned out well.” she threw the ingredients with a few ice cubes into a mixer and shook it around. “you want this one frozen or on the rocks?”

“I think– it’s about time I get you a drink.” felix drunkenly slurred the the other, pointing at the other as he nodded his head.  “what kind of drink would you like?”

“nothing like a night out on the town with you, huh?” lance joked, choking back the remnants of his jack and ginger. “just...” lance’s hand came up to wipe the sides of his mouth before he awkwardly dribbled in public. “another one of these.. jack and ginger,” they were both pretty drunk at this point and lance realized it had just been so long since they hung out like this. 

i’d obviously marry felix -- keep it in the family, i suppose. kill veru and fuck antoni.. just for the hair, i think. he’s got great hair.”

“i came here for school... now i’m still here. i like it though, i just wish there was an ocean here.” 

“oooh.. i think so. i’m curious about the ‘or nah’ section of the question. is anyone really straight? seems loaded.”

i’m not, no... are you? 

Phoenix was the last place Veru wanted to end up, actually anywhere away from Montreal would’ve gotten an equal hatred from her.  She just wanted to be home, but home ended with a single shot during a family dinner.  So, now, here she was stuck while her mother traveled home to pick up the broken pieces. She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts that she didn’t even notice the person appear in front of her.  She continued forward, bumping into them causing her to stumble backwards a bit.  There were fumes that sat waiting to come out of her ears that she held in.  Veru wanted nothing more than to scream at this person for even t h i n k i n g of not moving out of the way for her.  But she couldn’t, she wasn’t top dog anymore – not yet at least.  So she offered an apologetic smile, “I’m so sorry, I guess I was just way too zoned out in my own thoughts.” a laugh followed the statement.  “I hope you’re not in a rush, I-uhm–” she looked around, “Oh, I can buy you a coffee for the inconvenience?”

lance was in his head thinking about what he would do once he was home. there was a new game he was thinking of popping into his playstation, but maybe today was a better day to read in the hammock, he couldn’t decide before his center of gravity shifted. “oof..,” he grunted while trying to balance himself and the stranger bumping into him. ”no, it’s okay, man.” he smiled at the woman. taken aback by her forward attempt at reconciling, lance took it as flirting. “oh, that’s not needed, thanks though. i work down the street at the cafe, if you ever wanna grab a bite.” he offered back, realizing how equally foward he had just been as well. “no worries, though, seriously.” he smiled, aware of his reddening cheeks. 

LEVI: word of caution

LEVI: don't flirt with anyone decently older then you in public until you're fully aware that they aren't your least favorite teacher from high school

LEVI: i hope your days been better

as breezy wiped the water droplets from the wine glasses, she looked up at the other. “i went to a party over the weekend,” she took a pause to place the glasses together and grab a drink. “all i did was walk into the place and i heard someone yell ‘dibs!’ within the crowd.” she started laughing a bit behind her glass of water. “little did he know that i’m off limits,” she joked a bit with her customer. “anyways, how was your weekend?” breezy asked the other.
