ENLIGHTENED 11.21.18

For me the most important event in my life will be when I'm truly enlightened. When I actually become one with my wife and with God.

I had spent about 1/4 of the first of this year really focusing on my relationship with my wife and my kids. Really trying to strengthen my resolve in my testimony of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I have weakened that drive and fire because I've been sided tracked and worried about earthy things. (Work, homes ownership, social status, physical things)

I told myself that I wasn't going to let church callings affect my testimony. Affect, how I was going to live a more Christlike life. I've sinned in my journey to the road of enlightenment because I let my pride get in the way and I wouldn't humble myself in front of the Savior. Oh, how wicked and perverse my natural tendencies. How quick, to succumb to the temptations and flatteries of the Devil. How quick to abandon my resolve and my "rock solid" testimony that I felt wouldn't ever tremble or wain in unbelief or uncertainty. Damn my natural man that puts seemly un-traverseable obstacles in my path. If I would only accept my Savior completely, at which point I would become successful in using those obstacles as stepping stones. Stepping stones to become truly enlightened and yes having a perfect knowledge of the Atonement and Jesus Christ and become perfected in Him! I recommit to have the Savior 1st in my life and know how to "behold the Man". Be one with the Spirit and immovable things will melt into stepping block's to our Savior.
