Breathing

I spent 2018 so caught up on you I lost sight of who I am. All I can remember is the good times we had, how I’d get lost in your deep, brown eyes, how I’d be mesmerised by your soft lips and how I’d crave your warm embrace. Every second day this is all I could think of. 2019 will be MY year. I’m going to achieve what I want and so much more. It does pain me you aren’t by my side to do so, but I’m aiming to make myself a better person altogether. I’ll always love you, but it’s time I start loving myself.

In the end you do your best for everyone but they’ll all leave you in one way or another. And some hurt more than others

It’s honestly so amazing and scary how someone can build you up to your best and then tear you down to your worst. For so long I tried learning to fall out of love, only to learn to do so and then to fall in love with someone else, and now I have to do it all over again. This shit hurts so much and I just don’t know what to do anymore. My only distraction is work and it gets tiring. Even my outlets like music just don’t do anything for me anymore 😪

Feels like déjà vu

It’s funny how someone leaves you saying “you deserve true happiness and i don’t think I can give it to you”, but they were what made you happy for so long and now every time you shut your eyes all you can see are the memories you had with them and it makes you sad

know what? I’m knuckling down at uni, I’m at the top of the food chain at work, I’ve started getting into a regular gym routine again and I’m just overall feeling good. Don’t need no boy to fuck me around anymore.  This year, it’s my fucking year and I’m not prepared to get sad over some little boy, and get happy over the fact I’m getting my shit together.
