Matt's overprotectiveness, stemming from his deep concern for Peter, may have come across as restricting Peter's freedom. He might have been too insistent on dissuading Peter from accompanying him this time.

On the other hand, Peter likely felt frustrated with Matt's excessive protection. He also wanted to fight alongside Matt as a fellow hero and share the responsibilities.

Their intense worry and affection for each other seemed to have inadvertently hurt their partner's feelings. However, their love remains unchanged, and they will soon reconcile. Through honest conversations, they will clear up any misunderstandings and learn to respect and trust each other more in the future.
