Once Mixer was finished making his own letter, he sent it through a portal.

It hits the ground, the letter was entirely covered in paint, going through one of Mixer's portals.

A small, twinkling light flew out of a portal on the windowpane, carrying a letter with splash color to him. He sprang out of his chair, not bothering to put on his coat in the freezing blizzard. He ran outside, wading through the snow to grab the letter.

Back inside the warmth of his home with snow partially covered his body, he carefully opened the letter, curious to see what his friend Mixer had sent him.

Flipping over the page, Postman Wally sees:

As soon as the letter reached the height he desired, he took off back towards his house, satisfied with his work. The letter remained in the air, flapping in the wind, until a small portal opened and sucked it in. He sighed and went back inside, glad to have made Mixer's day a little brighter.

Once that was done, he began working on another letter back, writing his thanks. But not only that, he had to give another thing back, even more this time. He got to work in the yellow void, pulling a bucket of paint from the ground and sculpted with his hands a small blob of white.

He began working, pulling, twirling, and digging at the blob until it was to what he wanted. A tiny white body with a head, tail, and legs. Next he pulled a sharp metal tool from the ground, slicing many many shallow lines starting by sections on the small figure. He continued, slicing through them diagonally in the same process, doing the same again, in a more randomized process. He then began working on the head, detailing a small face. After that, he painted over it with different shades of brown and even blue until he was done.

Proud of his work, he pulled a present box from a portal and gently put the new gift in. Making sure it’s a surprise. Only for the Postman to reveal. Along with the letter, he placed it on top, sticking it under the ribbon and dropped it into a portal.

Cautiously, they made their way downstairs, their candle burning brightly. They entered to find their Christmas tree glowing in the otherwise dark room. Their eyes scanned the area until they spotted a mysterious gift sitting under the tree. It was a yellow box, wrapped in fancy paper. Something was shaking inside it.

Wally approached the box cautiously, his mind spark curiousity. He hesitated for a moment, wondering who the gift might be from. Just then, he spotted a letter lying next to it with colors spilled on them. He picked it up and began to read.
