so i was watching the episode of the office with pam’s art show and it literally made me cry. can we just appreciate michael here? i mean pam has just spent an entire night listening to people criticize her work/not even bother to come at all, and here comes her boss who always jokes around and makes fun of her, and just tells her that her art is amazing and can he buy one? and he tells her that he’s proud of her, like that is just so sweet and i can definitely relate to pam. i’m an aspiring artist too, and one of my deepest fears is exactly what pam went through. i’m terrified of rejection, and of people hating what i put a ton of effort into. i’m just really glad that he was there, because even though these are just fictional people, i’m sure we can all relate to pam at least a little bit
