The Super Heroes of Power-C
The first of the 7 different bottles is Power-C. Â There are 8 of these bottles each going to the everyday heroes I admire. Â
Why do it?
In thinking about it, this is an odd yet poetic project. I will send 30 bottles with a personal letter, to 30 people. But why do all this? There are other ways to show appreciation and reach out to people. Well let tell you how I began with the idea. Â It all started with a failed attempt at an art project. Â I began collecting vitamin water bottles to create a collage of some sort with the different colors each wrapper from the bottles. As I began to start assembling the bottle and start my "art" project it dawned on me: I AM A HORRIBLE ARTIST! (Visually at least) So the bottles sat in my room waiting to be recycled. Â I had 30 bottles in a corner collecting dusk. With each day that past, I thought to myself "something has to be done with these". Â Then one day it finally hit me, message in a bottle! From that moment the project evolved from a bad visual project into what it is now, a beautiful social project. A way to express the thoughts in my mind to the people who have influenced the way it thinks. I hope this project turns out great but either way I am glad I was bold enough to do it. May this inspire you to create your own project....
