A stumble out of the gate...
So it turned out that the site I’d picked to handle my shop was missing a few features. A few big features. Hence why, if you head to http://bottlecitysoaps.com at the moment, you’ll be greeted with a locked up page.
It shouldn’t be for too too long, I think. I should have everything migrated over in a day or so, but for now... we’ll, let’s just say it could have been better but I’m also glad I’m finding this out now instead of having no idea until it would be an even bigger hassle.
I’m a silver lining sort of girl, if you couldn’t tell.
Up above, you will see something of my other little stumble. Because, note to self, make sure you aren’t exhausted from the heat due to a broken AC unit when you decide to cut your soap.
One turned out great, but the other is, well, going to be some really great travel size soap. Or sample soap. It’s a little small, is what I’m saying, but still gorgeous. I originally cut it in the wrong direction in my stupor until literally the last chunk and then, like the light of revelation, I remembered what I was doing.
The nice thing about stumbles, though, is that they help make sure you don’t fall in the future. So I’m going to take these as my due knocks for trying something new and keep trucking.
...and obviously everything in the picture here will be on the site for sale in like a month and a half. FYI!
