When you set time aside to study at your university library or a study place in your university it really helps to maintain your focus. You’re already there anyway and that way you can optimize your time and productivity. When you’re at home it’s easy to get distracted. You must have noticed when you study at home that cleaning seems to get really appealing... just to get your mind off things other than studying. 

It’s really worth it to spend some time finding a good playlist on your favorite streaming site with good music to focus to while studying. Either find a long playlist or set it on repeat so you really get into your focus. To maintain my focus i advise to use a noise canceling headset since it filters out all background noise. Sounds like speaking, environment sounds, are filtered out.
