NORMAL-SIZED THERAPIST: "Round hole. You mean a hole shaped like a cue ball?"

SHRUNKEN GIRL: "Why a cue ball?"

NORMAL-SIZED THERAPIST: "Because you're so small and cue!"

SHRUNKEN GIRL: "You mean 'cute'? You forgot the T!"

NORMAL-SIZED THERAPIST: "Sorry. Speech impediment."

SHRUNKEN GIRL: "Have you ever considered going to speech therapy?"

NORMAL-SIZED THERAPIST: "What? A THERAPIST going to a THERAPIST? Whoever heard of such a thing??"

SHRUNKEN GIRL: "Uh--"

NORMAL-SIZED THERAPIST: "So how does this square peg phenomenon make you feel?"

Collect enough of it and you can process it to make brooms or brushes or something. Make rope. Basic stuffing could work too. A decently strong net for whatever reason. Weave a carpet. Mix it with other materials to strengthen/increase flexibility of said material.

Usefulness of said post highly depends on local human's hair length and texture.

More borrower Myaaaa!!!! (And human Oliver hands) Drew this on my iPad as opposed to Clip Studio on my 'puter 🙂‍↕️ been messing around with Gradient Maps so was practicing that as well as hands. I feel like my style changes a bit depending on the hardware I'm drawing on 😭 oh well!!!

I really wasn't sure about posting just one pic at a time or not, but I guess I'm just dumping all the ones I had so far of the original version of The Big Merman AU! Tho for the original, I'll just be calling it The Giant Merman! Also the second pic is an alt of this one (I included both the shaded and non shaded just so people can see his coloring better).

I honestly don't have a whole lot figured out so far and the differences, but obviously they are still quite similar to Bobby and Pietro in looks but also in personality a bit. I think they also kind of grew as their own characters just by being in a different kind of setting, so I felt it worked branching off. I came up with the names Sylvanus for the mer and Ronan for the human.

I still am trying to figure out if I'd have it where Sylvanus actually didn't speak English at first, but if he didn't, I think he would learn surprisingly fast bc he's very intelligent. I think Ronan would also be a bit more into science and would basically spend a lot of time tutoring Sylvanus on language and all he knows about how the world works. I think Sylvanus might actually get better at spelling than Ronan is haha One other difference I guess would be that he'd be buck ass naked when he first comes to land haha I guess there are a bit more similarities to Splash with some of this. Regular fish out of water kind of story. But I think it might be fun to have as a book maybe if I can get that going~

I hope you guys also enjoy these original versions! I still will continue having fun with the mer AU as is with Bobby and Pietro as well, but I did also want to do this!

Like the tiny ends up escaping but lost now and fighting their way to survival and end up having to try and fight something larger than them. And when they think they're about to lose the human just flat out grabs and chucks away whatever large predator it was.
