And Arya wants to go with him, because he’s kind of everything she wishes she could be.  There’s an element of frictional power struggle to their interactions (another thing I find so fascinating: she’s a ten-year-old kid but she manages to outwit him, and have a great enough effect on him that he kills Ser Amory when she wants him to and convinces him to help her escape Harrenhal, but I digress)….where was I? Oh yes, at times their relationship is a little bit tense, but when all was said and done, Jaqen made her brave again. She is clearly upset (second gif) when he tells her he must leave. In the book, she resents him for leaving her but can’t quite convince herself to get rid of the coin he had given her because it’s a connection to him. She wants to find him again, even though she’s angry with him. He was protection for her and he gave her courage and power.
