there is a bill in the senate that passed the house, called the KOSA bill which will limit and monitor all internet access, suppress and censor lgbtq and political opinions, and require ID just to get on the internet. Freedom of expression will be gone and they say this is for kids protection when in reality they need it for our data. Not to mention if it’s not obvious that this is a clear breach of privacy. The dangers we all know and try to avoid when handling our IDs is not to be handled lightly and the people who register our IDs are more than likely to get that information leaked.
