these were poster designs I made for a WWI Propaganda project for History classes! The first design was the original, but then I realized it was too reminiscent of the Japanese flags of the time, so I dropped it and changed it to the second design.

(Note: The soldier is heavily borrowed from an online reference. Most of the changes I made were adding colors, changing clothes/accessories, etc.; this is not 100% original art. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the source...)

This was an interesting project! I really liked making it but it honestly took too long for what it was worth.
