first of all, happy 3rd sammiversaty y’all!

second, the fuck was that ep. i cried, i laughed, i almost got hit by a car cause i was so into the ep. and didn’t watch the road. but whatever.

- ben and emily finally got through their unspoken feelings yay it took us ?? what? 70 eps? great

- sammy is my stupid cinnamon roll and when the ufo followed him i literally cried “not my bby please no” and thank the lord he is safe and gonna stay in king falls

- the fuck happened to the station? can someone explain? like, did ufo destroyed the station? i’m confused

- for some reason, this ep was the one when i realized how much i love every fucking character (except the frog boi and the gunderson) in this show

- emily telling greg “fuck you” felt like a victory... finally, after like 30 eps of suffering

- also, that was a phase 1 and i have a few questions, like “is there gonna be phases 3? 4? how many?”. and, if first phase took 75 eps to finish... like, how long are they plan on doing the show? not that i’m complaining, just don’t want king falls turn into wtnv (sorry)

at this point, i’m realizing that i’m not ready for bright sessions to be over but i guess i don’t have a choice. so here we go

— joan bright is the best girl ever and i support her 100%

— “we are in love with the same man” was the fucking best thing that happened in this ep

— mark is the cutest boyfriend and he is a precious cinnamon roll

— “i don’t know how to love you” almost made me cry i just adore characters who talk about their emotions

y’all should listen to the far meridian cause it’s a very nice show with interesting plot/overall idea, lovely main character (the second main character is nice too) and amazing soundtrack. thank god for mischa stanton and his producing skills, the sound design in this podcast is just... uh, so good.

also, the eps are short (under 15 min) and it’s super refreshing.

and then i was like “can i at least tell you the plot?” she was fine with that so i recorded my audio message and in the middle of it realized that… i was talking about the penumbra for like 2 mins, not king falls.

i’m trying to like it but it’s just not my cup of tea i guess (i’ll keep listening to the eps tho)

u’ve read the title, so lets go

1. Opal

she is just a beautiful giant woman with a low voice and amazing powers. also, i find it quite facinating that she appeared like 3 times and said like 16 words and i still feel like i know her ?? like her character.

2. Rhodonite

okay maybe i am just a sucker for pearls fusing with others (i just love pearl(s), yes), but she is just a perfect anxious off-color bby and, as garnet mentioned, there is probably a story behind them. also, they chose to be fused while they could probably continue their normal lives as regural gems (not like rutile twins), and i think this is brave.

3. Stevonnie

wow fusion without a pearl but for real tho, they are giving me some intersex vibes and this is just so rare even in modern tv shows. also, they are just so pure, and cute, and strong, and skilled, and just, ughhh, u know?

worth mentioning: Sardonyx.

oh wow that was a fucking roller coaster of emotions with a lot of good scenes and twists. here are some things i feel after watching the finale. 

— fist of all, where the fuck is Moon? where did that unicorn send her? i’m rly worried and hope she is somewhere where she can remember who she is.

— eclipsa was willing to kill her daughter in order to save the kingdom!! what a legend. but also, was she really tho?? i’ve read some posts like “y’all she fooled us” but i don’t think she did. i feel like she sincerely wants to protect ppl of mewni and doesn’t want innocent folks to die, however, after the fight she went to her lover in order to unfreeze him and... do what, exactly? like, is she thinking about ruling the mewni with him, is she going to try and make mewmans and monsters live together in peace? was it her plan from the beginning? to get her wand back in order to set her lover free ?? i hope the last is not the case, i want to believe eclipsa, but... idk

— anyway, i LIVE for elcipsa in action, using her cool umbrella-wand, like ughhh my heart just skipped a beat i swear

— also on the same note, star using her powers without the wand is just... aaaaaa she is so good and i am so proud of her!! they grow up so fast. BUT i feel like she gave up the wand only because she thought that meteora died so that was kinda the only way she could thank eclipsa ?? idk, for me it seemed like she regretted her choice as soon as baby meteora cried.

— which brings me to baby meteora. like i’m happy that she can get her childhood back, but also she is not gonna be the same character anymore so i’m kinda disappointed. 

— omfg i love Tom now ?? i liked him before but in this ep. he is just so sweet, and kind, and thoughtful, and mature, and his relationship with marco was so warm even after he found out that diaz kissed star... this is my new son, thank you very much

- wadsworth’s moral compass is uhm based on stereotypical thinking and perceived high homogeneity of atypicals and this is surprising cause she is a psychologist and suppose to know about the way our brain works in terms of in-group vs out-group attitudes... but maybe i’m getting it wrong

- when wadsworth was talking to joan i was like “she is not really questioning herself, she’s manipulating”, and for the whole talk i was hoping i’m wrong, but it seems like i’m not... i don’t know anything anymore; i want to believe she was genuine tho

- this podcast makes me feel things, i don’t like it

- the fuck??? t h E fUC K

- for real, i would fucking kill gunderson and wouldn’t feel sorry about that. he is indeed a memorable representation of what a great amount of power in the hands of bad people can do.

- the gay references made me wanna kill him even more, homophobic fuck

- HE KILLED BEN’S PET (right?), he deserves to die

- in other news: tim ?? is a robot ??? i mean, should have guessed it, but still surprised

- the first part of the ep made me sad, the second one made me so angry i can’t even cope with that
