I’ve been screwing around with this one for about a month. Recorded on my phone in my stairwell, so don’t judge too harshly. It’s still a work in progress.

Much delayed. I moved and all sorts of things happened right after I posted about that bevy of new music  Here is something. Like all of my stuff this was recorded on my phone, while sitting in the dead middle of my love seat, getting tore up on something. Thankfully those days are over and done.

This is just a bored on a Friday night cover of Hotel Chelsea Nights by my main man Ryan Adams. A few beers and with much pizza in my belly this happens.

I’ve started, finally. Last night me and the roommate added more depth and clarity to the vast openness that is huron (working title). I’ve had an inkling of an idea for over 2 years to write a fantasy epic based around a world that I build first. The map was drawn months ago, and I’ve been building slowly since. A culture here, a city there, a political system established, a genealogy, a vague history of each nation… Just a few broad brush strokes and a few fine lines, but it is a beginning. This is going to be so fun. Friends, you may not see me for years.

In keeping with the Ryan Adams cover theme, here is a cover of Jacksonville Skyline with minimal mistakes. I really, really love this song. I’ve been telling myself to put it up here for awhile. I hope you enjoy.
