July is OVER! How did that happen? It was just June like yesterday. AND Iām a few days late into August lol ooppss.
In order to attempt some sort of adult-ery schedule for my blog, a monthly TBR is a good start! Iāll postĀ my most anticipated releases for the month/ TBR list! I figure this is a good way to keep track so see if Iām hitting my goals or not! Ā The 48 by Donna Hosie:Ā Ā I know the publication date on this is a little bit aways but Edelweiss offered me this book and itās different from what I usually read so I thought Iād give it ago. The thing is, IT EXPIRES IN LIKE A WEEK! Wth!? So now itās been bumped up as my next read! I better like this! lolĀ āĀ This book is about the Tudor court, which actually interests me quite a bit! I love history and the way of the Royals back-then. Have any of you seen The Crown on Netflix, or Reign about Mary Queen of Scots?! I love that shit! The Other Boleyn Girl was also decently good and I know a bit about the Tudors so this should be fun!
Vox by Christina Dalcher:Ā Ā In this story, set in an alternative America, women are only allowed a certain number of words they are allowed to speak. So one women must decide how far sheāll go to protect herself and her daughter. ā Wow. This sounds soo good! Iām pretty sure Iām going to like this one. These types of books are always so scary good to read because itās a very terrifying realization of how close it sometimes feels America is to becoming something awful.
Ignite the Stars by Maura Milan:Ā So I believe this was originally described as āThrone of Glass in spaceā on Goodreads but itās been taken down. Now, Iāll admit this does put me off because the whole time Iām reading this I am going to be comparing the two and LOOKING for similarities! I can feel it. So that sucks, but I will still give this a shot ā though it might not be a fair one ā considering that description is in my head. Now, do I still need to explain the plot line? A young female is a criminal mastermind ā and everyone thinks she is a he- is captured by the Olympus Commonwealth and is then trapped into its military academy where unexpected bonds being to form. OH GOSH
People Kill People by Ellen Hopkins:Ā Ā Now Iāve been a fan of Hopkins for years! I love her verse style writing, itās pure brilliance. Though some of her books are a bit difficult to read and it is (mostly) done right, I am pretty confident in this. This story revolves around a gun and the different purposes it is needed for by six different people. Most of her books have the characters connected in some way.Ā This is going to be crazy!
I Do Not Trust You by Laura J. Burns and Melinda Metz:Ā I was asked to review this for a Blog Tour! And naturally as an up-coming blogger I jumped at the chance! Yay! Plus it sounds pretty interesting! This is a race against time book, āMā must save her father who she thought was dead! Dun-dun-dun dunnnnnnnn.

I CANNOT wait for this! I will have to though since Iām getting it in a sub box. BUT I did read an excerpt a while back and does anyone else get ToG/Aelin vibes? It might just be the name, what a coincidence.
Mirage by Somaiya Daud:Ā A brutal empire rules the star system, but poet Amani lives a peaceful life on an isolated moonāuntil sheās kidnapped and forced to work for the cruel Princess Maram. I have been reading nothing but great things about this and Iām honestly sooooo excited to read this! YA needs more diversity so Iām always more than glad to read something actually different! I love exploring different cultures, I know this will be a favorite!
Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson:Ā KaziĀ wasĀ a legendary street thief; now sheās reformed. On a secret mission for the queen, she matches wits with a dangerous leader of an outlaw dynasty. So I havenāt heard too much about this one but I remember it sounding pretty interesting lol! So why not add it on here, right?
Now, I am hoping and certainly going to try to make it though most of these! Guess weāll see at the end of the month!
