This be my most savory tasting beans yet. Once I knew the basics, I started tweaking the taste. So far my recipe is : 2 cups pinto beans soaking overnight. Boil beans in 12 cups water w/ 3 tbsp(or cubes) of tomato/chicken bouillon for 2.5-3 hrs, drain but save water. Heat up 4 tbsp bacon fat, 3 tsp minced garlic, 2 tsp steak sauce, 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp pepper. Once you can smell the flavors heat up, dump drained bean in. Mash thoroughly. Add pre-drain water to make pasty. I go for 1 cup. Cook for 8-10min low heat, stirring occasionally. Yum! #atx #homecooking #bachelorchow #refriedbeans
