In Spain it’s always fiesta time. I came across this parade in a little town near Astorga. They were celebrating some saint that I have never heard of but it seems mostly like an excuse to party.

What an amazing journey you are having, so much time to examine the mind and those thoughts that race around in the head. I would be excited to head up into the mountains as well, even if it is cold. The beauty will certainly help to offset the sore feet and tired body. I love your photographs and my favorite so far is the shot of the beautiful cathedral with the deep blue sky background. When you get back, you will have to hold court and entertain us with your tales of the journey.
