i dreamt about you again last night.

i thought i was over you but my mind tells me i am not.

we brush noses trying to fight off the urge of touching lips but it still makes me want you even more.

i felt my cheeks blaze and my face turn warm when you broke the temptation and kissed me passionately.

you looked so good and your face looked like home even though I haven’t seen you in years.

and you finally wanted me instead.

you loved me so hard, if only it would have been that way in real life.

why does my mind keep bringing you up, when i am trying so hard to forget you?

maybe we’ll meet again one day and things will work out for us.

when you kissed me on the brick road on mainstreet, somewhere we never went together-

it made me want you all over again.
