Krysta met Mikey after Leo portal split his brothers to Italy (instead of Tahiti in Canon) she stole Mystic Chalk Mikey had when they were about to head home and find Leo because she wanted it to escape her imprisonment of the Tiranno family led by the evil king Komodo, all now mutants. Mikey was captivated when he first saw her as she is literally one of the first mutants not his brother he saw. After the four brothers help her escape, a mutual crush begins to develop between them. As Mikey helps her get a job at Hueso’s and a home in witchcraft town two years later when Tiger Claw is killed destroying the Leader Krang leaving the entire family devastated among other events Krysta wishes to be stronger feeling left behind with the help of Karai’s spirit and the Spirit a now purified Oroku Saki Krysta unlocks her Ninpo as she too is. Hamato at heart and rescue’s Mikey during the Hamato’s seige on the home of an evil Yokai Kitsune who kidnapped him. Realizing how important they are to each other the two kiss and begin to date.
