What are they?
Both are mighty spirits and criminals with a bunch of strange powers. Bones was even stronger in the past, Pumpking wasn't since he just wanted to be lazy all time. Both use their powers differently.
Some info about spirits.
All spirits have different sources of energy. For example, Bones is the spirit of Fear, so he absorbs people's fears.
Spirits feel a lot better when other spirits are around them. In the past they were fine separately since these creatures were almost everywhere. Nowadays the number of them is so little that Bones and Pumpking can’t split up, because they are basically the main sources of energy for each other.
Spirits can't die, but they can disappear. If it happens, they wouldn't be able to do anything to other people or objects, like ghosts. And it can get even worse after a while.
Spirits often consist of inanimate objects and other weird stuff. Bones is a strange substance and, well, bones, and Pumpking is a plant.
