I’ve made some oak-spruce and larch-pine sandwiches to cut out paddles from.

Laminated deck on top

Testing seat and happy with shape.

Stopping blocks glued in place for making the latches only turn 90 degrees and then be tightened.

Testing the hatches in place. Some adjustment of the rims needed.

Working on the hatch rims and line channels.

Deck laminated on both sides. Now building the cockpit coming from a strip bending plywood and a board.

Priming with epoxi to try to fix the shape.
