ot0 thoughts…Im liking the bestower storylines enough but the master storylines were very…bland

#I know storytelling has never been octopath’s strong point since the stories are very by the numbers but something feels missing #I think it’s the lack of traveler backstories. I feel like I’m just using pokemon but I want to know more about them #I think I’m just more fond of the typical octopath formula with the 8 character stories #you know what it’s because I don’t like the grand stakes plot lines. I don’t really care about kingdoms at war i want personal stories

My first two travelers….i think about them a lot

#doodles #my art #octopath #castti florenz #hikari ku #why am I rotating them in my mind again im not even replaying ot2 yet #I picked up ot0 but I can only think about ot2 help #anyways I think about hikari and Castti being the first two travelers a lot #my hc is that hikari got no sleep the first few days or so and developed a phobia of fires bc of what happened in ku #any time they light a fire he’s just like damn. entering the war flashbacks #and of course Castti can see right through him and tell so #something is wrong #I also hc self sacrificing hikari a lot in the beginning of their journey bc of his guilt #and Castti just wanting to protect him <- she is stronger and can heal so her stubborn will to protect others wins #octopath traveler 2
