David Cage is a hack and his world is my sandbox

This is what happens when Kara’s story is written first as an independent storyline before getting stuffed into a narrative that wasn’t created to support her and Markus’s story is written last to fill a void in Connor (and through him, Zhora’s) story to allow to whitewash his violence and show him hunting someone that isn’t a victimized women and therefore ‘deserves it.’

People say that Cage is an incompetent writer, but I think that the writing within the Connor POV shows exactly how capable he can be when he chooses to be invested in a character. But because he didn’t care about Markus, Kara, and Zhora/North the same way that he does about Connor, he chose not to put the same effort into their stories as he did with him. Hell, half the reason why the Jericho plot line is so poorly developed is because they took half of it out and then did the absolute minimum work required to fill in the gaps left behind.

So, uh, I know I’m kind of late to the party, but I got around to play Detroit, finally and it might actually be the one hyperfixation I really really needed.

As listed above, I am offering pages of Headshots, stylized “chibi” Tiny sketches, and of course, custom ship art, since Mathias Shaw and his matelot are what I’ve been hyperfixated on lately, so I’d might as well capitalize on that!

Even after he rids himself of Amanda, the zen garden still exists in Connor's mind. But without her there to keep the plants in check, it becomes more and more overgrown.

It essentially becomes a mirror of Connor's thoughts and feelings, a reflection of his innermost self. Depending on what is on his mind at a certain point in time, there will be different flowers in his garden depending on their meaning.

Is he missing something or someone? Wormwood.

Is he feeling cheerful? Crocuses.

Is he feeling brave and bold? Delphinium.

It's important to note that this is also strongly affected by his personal association. Red roses, for example, remind him more of Amanda than of falling in love, so that's what they represent in his mind.
