our greatest accompishment / our greatest catastrophe

its a wonder seeing artemis II and these new images of the moon, and of our world. but i cant shake the fact that the same people sending us to space are the ones destroying millions of homes and lives in Iran, in Lebanon, and so on. and i cant forget that these missions will be used in an attempt to colonize space. i don't know if i'm making any sense but this war is devastation manifest and i rebuke the actions of my country.

im working on my thesis for college under a professor whos so old school that i feel like i shouldve picked a non-art major. that being said i think taking a break after my senior show is going to be imperative. i've wanted to do comics for years and i love doing them but i need wayyy more space to expiriment and make weirder art. i need to break the "laws" ive been told abt art.
