Bob Patterson is an experienced businessman and CPA. The founder and President of Patterson & Company CPAs, PLLC, of Louisville, Kentucky, Mr. Patterson combines real-life business experience with certification and training to provide his clients with a comprehensive suite of accounting services. Patterson & Company’s clients are primarily small and medium-size businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs. The firm specializes in the hospitality and professional practices industries.
Bob Patterson received his CPA training at the University of Louisville and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and Chartered Global Management Accountant, in addition to being certified in Fundamental Payroll. These credentials inform his accounting firm’s services, which include full-service payroll, back office accounting support, business consulting, and fraud examination.
Prior to establishing his accounting firm, Bob Patterson was President & CEO of Consumers Choice Coffee, Inc., a very successful specialty coffee and beverage company with a large market share in Kentucky and surrounding areas. Under his leadership, Consumers Choice Coffee achieved an average 13% return on equity and was named one of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the Inner City by Harvard University. His success was recognized when he was named SBA Kentucky Small Business Person of the Year and Leader in Industry Finalist for the Better Business Bureau TORCH Award.
In addition to his work as a CPA, Bob Patterson is a leader in the Kentucky business community. He serves as President of the Park Hill Business Association and sits on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Society of CPAs. Committed to his local community, Mr. Patterson also serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisville Chapter of the American Red Cross and is a member of the Downtown Louisville Rotary Club. Additionally, he contributes to Liberty University, a Christian institution of higher learning.
