The pathetic for the Last War, these guys are monster balls from checkpoint miniatures. Real squig energy.

The wife was out at hobby whores so I decided I should do some hobbying too. Absolutely loved painting these Wargames Atlantic zombies, mud ghouls for Last War. Barbarian flesh and uniform grey mixed together for the skin and then warm skin shade over that.
Also this guy I have him a metal skull I got from checkpoint miniatures and then put a bunch of dried blood on to make it look like all him skin had been torn off his head 😁.
Test model for one of the Ghosts of No Mans Land. I don't think they're actually supposed to be literal ghosts but I like the look of this and it'll be a lot quicker to paint a bunch of them. Used army painters pastel sea foam speed paint or in the words of Tabletop minions on YouTube 'Ghost Juice'.

Finished the rest of the Eldar I bought from my friend (except for the NIB box of Guardians which I'll be doing later). Always a joy to paint these old metals, and even the one guy who is finecast was fun. Best condition finecast model I've ever seen tbh.

And then this unit of "Sword Saints" (Idk what they are/were in 40k, now they're Sword Saints, space elves who have lost themselves in the way of the blade, viewed with pity and fear by their kindred, mostly avoided unless they can be useful and perhaps find honorable deaths in battle)
I've been intending these guys to be a psychic-heavy army for Xenos Rampant, something that plays differently from my Imperial Guard, so I can have different armies to show off different parts of the game. Some of them will almost certainly be doing duty in Stargrave at some point as well.

There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything.
