Or maybe people just think for a moment how her situation compares to others and how it may affect her differently. Somehow I have a feeling this is strictly for Nicola though.
I’m not saying YOU specifically think these things I understand this is an opinions blog, but people who hate Nicola know they can come here to spew their hatred. You have to realize that. While YOU may not be saying these things, these posts allow people to clamor in the comments attacking and her while getting a lot of likes on their comment. And god forbid people try standing up for her it’s an immediate attack that we are in a cult and worship her and we are sick. I’m sorry but you even admit to getting mean posts about Luke but not posting them but you post the ones about Nicola, even if you don’t comment on them yourself or agree with them it allows the people who do to come into the comments continuing to hate and make fun of her. And again this isn’t the case when it comes to Luke. We bring him up not because we are centering him but because this is literally a blog about Nicola and Luke but it’s mostly just constant hate and criticism towards Nicola. Again at most Luke is called lazy. Nicola is literally treated like she’s a Disney villain.
Yes I do think Nicola does use her image to help Jake and get his name out there, but no I don’t think she’s getting him jobs. She doesn’t have that much power. Also though Luke does this with Antonia as well! It’s just not as successful so people either don’t care or don’t even realize. But Luke’s team literally pays for articles to be written about her and for paparazzi to take photos of them. This is to get her name out there. God they even use Nicolas name in these things so that when you look her up those will come up as well for more exposure. So I don’t think it’s really fair to try and act like it’s just Nicola doing this with Jake and that’s why you don’t like her while Luke does it with Antonia as well. It’s just on a smaller scale and doesn’t work. (Again I don’t specifically mean you, but the people on this blog from comments I have seen)
Again I’m not expecting people to worship Nicola. Just wish people would maybe take a step back and see the difference in treatment and maybe just have a bit of empathy for someone who’s clearly struggling. To me a lot of what she has done and said has indicated she may not be doing the best. Yes Nicola is rich and famous and yes she signed up for it but she’s also still a person.

Nicola is far more active. There is way more content about her to post. Not everyone is going to like what comes out of her mouth and a lot of the time believe it or not, I don’t post the mean vile shit that comes in about her. I immediately toss it. If I truly wanted to let people tear her down completely I’d let those things through without a second thought.

The main reason there’s talk about Nicola getting Jake jobs is because of a blind and him showing up at networking events and such. It’s more visible with them so people talk about it more. Maybe that’s not an excuse but you cannot be blind to the fact that Nicola has more visibility.
And people are highly aware of Luke doing this with Antonia. She literally goes everywhere with him. But like you said, it’s not successful and it’s not nearly as noticeable.
People are going to talk about what is more prevalent in that moment. Most of the time it’s Nicola. That’s just how it is.

Criticism on the internet is always going to exist. Not everything Nicola does is going to land the right way. Not everything she says will be ignored. I’m not saying that’s an excuse for people just to dog on her because I also do feel empathy for Nicola and whatever predicament she’s found herself in but I can’t and won’t stop people from feeling how they feel.
I do understand where you’re coming from anon. I don’t like seeing some of the harsh shit people have to say about her sometimes bc I do like her and enjoy her and she does deserve grace like everyone does but I don’t want this space to be an echo chamber amongst other echo chambers on here if that makes sense.
I don’t intentionally seek to have the worst of the worst said about Nicola and nothing about Luke. That’s not the reason I started this blog and it’s certainly not the reason why I’m still around.
