This concept is the main base with which I built this artwork, on which I recognized, considered and represented a series of unpublished automatic writings made from my first year living in Ensenada. Using the technique klecksography on transparent plastic sheets, each of these selected thoughts received a symbolic body. The work thus means the mixture of the conscious with the subconscious, the declarative with the procedural and the episodic and the semantic of the memory. I describe and expose contextual situations that now appear as objects of analysis over the light that reveals and makes them more evident.

Based on the concept of complex thought with its tangled quality and the organization, I’m representing again the mind viewed as a synthetic system that gets back to life through an interaction between a video call, capturing in real time what happens from there and it's transmitted in another view. In the other part the result of this transmission was perceived only by sound, now the intention was to show the visual part of the "other side" as if these generated images were part of a limited thinking and “surrounded by the stored information”. Thinking that now is received as internal images of a mind and whose structure is composed of certain patterns that creates physically a cover mental idealized. This piece contradicts the notion of the continuous flow of thoughts in the human mind that are waiting to break free. The piece conveys more the idea of the permanence of these thoughts as if they were a slight impasse, blocking the growth of free mental development into a complex tissue composed of the stimulus given by the real world. With this work I focused more on the idea of a co-dependency between "obsolete minds" to survive, especially after experimenting with the use of latest communication media, since the very idea that both devices need "something" (internet) to give and to share data with each other and the world.

The main objects in this piece are plastic sheets that come from the printer and the sound produced inside the wooden box [sound received in real time from another artwork through a video call]. What I'm representing here is the collection of data brought to reality by certain thought processes that always looking for ways to overcome any obstacle. That's why the plastic sheets are repeated in a saturated and structural way, to build part of my vision about the complex thought. This representation of the human mind seen as a synthetic system gets back to life through a type of interaction, expressed with the sound of the video call's intercommunication in this case.
