If you just bought me flowers, maybe I would have stayed.

   ♠         The rush of emotion, as faint as it is, causes him to rock slightly in the chair. Sway and sway, eyes peering at the kettle put to boil. He pauses though, looking at her curiously trying to pick the right bottle. Cataloguing Wondertea could be such a hassle, no wonder why they kept a list with numbers. The little pearls of oysters were… hard to pick from one another. His eyes close slowly, receiving the calming sensations rush through him. No longer jittery, but in a deep state of tranquility, he hums in affirmation. ❛ Quite. Now keep that and I might fall asleep right here, right now. ❜ he teases, peeking with an eye opened. His hands move from the arm rests onto her waist to hold. 

     ❛ Great service, four stars. I’ll give the fifth if I get a kiss. ❜     

     Offers him a smile, leaning forward, though she quickly moves to press a kiss to his neck rather than his lips. Slowly, she trails small kisses across his jawline, thumb subconsciously caressing his cheek. Just as her lips brush across his, the kettle starts its chant. Can’t help but laugh a bit at the timing, only giving him a small peck when she hops off his form. 

Minutes later, she brings him a cup-- just tea, no wonders. Wanders back to get a cup for herself, then returns to his side. Rather than returning to his lap, she sits up on his desk, legs crossing as she makes herself comfortable there.
