The Blues Brothers way. Sure, that sounded legit - a little corny, but fair enough. Lillian hadn`t actually seen either of the men without the hat, the glasses or the same outfit before, so it was safe to assume that he wasn`t bullshitting. So the blonde gave a nod, as though understanding. “That makes sense.”
Did she want to wear them? Like, right now? “I`m not really a glasses kind of person,” she laughed slightly, shaking her head as she spoke. “I really wouldn`t suit them.”
Then again, Lillian might not get another opportunity to try them on. And besides, weren`t the Blues Brothers kind of famous? How many people could say that they got to wear a celebrity`s sunglasses?
“But.. sure. Why not.”
"I bet you'd look great with them," Jake ASSURED dismissively. "Hold still."
He unfolded his PRIZED glasses and slid them onto Lillian's face. He made sure they sat comfortably, on her ears and nose, before fixing her hair and pulling back to gaze upon his work. Then, however, a finger pushed them further up the bridge of her nose.
Perfect!
"You look great, as I said you would," He began, grinning to himself at the sight. "We could make a Blues brother out of you yet. How do you feel?"
