Hi everyone! I haven't disappeared. I'm actually in Japan for another three weeks so will be very very sporadic for now. Sorry!
blxckend:
He scoffed at her actions, amused and unwilling to admit that he was somewhat worried for the young girl. Zacharie was well screwed over and there was no saving him from the mess heâd become, but she was still young and capable of change. âYou only win because they have no sense of humour,â he teased, teeth holding onto the cigarette, âSo the competition isnât exactly tough.â
He could tell that she was flirting with him; it wasnât a rare occurrence and Zacharie thrived in it. Flattered as he was though, he was still unable to see the girl as more than a younger sister - a child much too eager to grow up. âDonât you have elsewhere to be? Study academy?â he chuckled, leaning back to take another drag of his smoke, out of the girlâs reach, âOr friends your own age?â
she gave him a confused look. âyeah i study - why are you asking?â normally guys werenât concerned with what she did with her life outside of the clubs. âi have friends my own age but they do the same as me, theyâre all working in clubs or doing illegal shitâ she let out a small chuckle as she took a pack of cigarettes out of her own bag, placing one in her mouth and lighting it. the end of the cigarette glowed brightly as she dragged the smoke into her lungs. âwhy are you so interested in what i do?â she asked as she blew the smoke out into the air.
It was wrong for him to be concerned about her, usually more accustomed to being aloof to the people around them. "Nothing, just teasing," he waved the thought away, exhaling the smoke from the corner of his lips, "You don't look like you do anyway." Zacharie rolled his eyes when she pulled out her own cigarettes but knew that he'd be a hypocrite to say anything, and nor would he take them away. He's been smoking since he was fourteen, and it only got worse when he was dating Sophie. "Hey, I'm just trying to be a good oppa," he snickered, resting forward on his elbows, "That's what you're meant to call me, you know. Try it. Make it cute."
For @sakruhlij
Zacharie never could have a normal conversation with his other and so, when ever she called, he would duck away into the dressing rooms to answer. He never allowed anyone in, except Ginny, of course but then again, she was never the annoying nosy type and he trusted her to keep his secrets. âFor the last time, Mother, I donât care what it is but youâre not staying at my- No! Get a fucking hotel!â he snapped, pacing the room, âI- No, I donât mean that- Mother, will you stop crying already?â
He gave a heavy sigh of exasperation, dropping himself down on the couch. The woman had a strange manner, one moment attacking him for his âdreadfulâ behavior and then sobbing about how he was âjust like his fatherâ. âLook, fine, come to Seoul if you want but Iâm booking you a hotel,â Zacharie gave up, lying his head down on Ginnyâs shoulder, âAnd donât stick around. You hate it here anyway.â
With her head lowered and her gaze fixed on her phoneâs screen, Gennevieve was pretending to be busy as the man paced around the room, but of course she was paying full attention to the words Zacharie spoke, and it was impossible to not hear his motherâs yells, that soon turned into cries by the way the man was talking to her. If it had being any other person, Gennevieve would have scolded him about the rudeness with which he was talking, but it was no secret that she wasnât fond of the actorâs model either.
Gennevieveâs head remained lowered when the man took a sit next to her, but it wasnât until she felt the weight of his head over her shoulder that she finally stopped pretending to be busy with her phone, leaving the device aside on an empty spot of the couch to then take her hand across her chest, reaching to card her fingers through the manâs bangs while remaining quiet, hoping that she could be of some comfort as she knew how stressed Zacharie always got whenever he had to deal with his mother.Â
It was no wonder why he preferred staying in Korea, even though his entire life was over in France. While him and his father's relationship was frosty at best, the man knew well not to meddle in Zacharie's matter. So long as he didn't adversely affect his father's reputation in the film industry, the money stayed flowing and his luxury apartment was paid for. His mother, on the other hand, liked to stick her nose into any business that remotely affected her son - work, friends, living arrangements and potential spouses. She was the embodiment of everything he could ever hate; except style, his mother had impeccable style and a flawless grace. "Seriously? An entire we-" he stopped himself, sighing in defeat, "Fine. Whatever. But I'll be busy." Hanging up the line, a long moment of silence fell over them. Zacharie closed his eyes, quietly calmed by her fingers brushing through his hair. "Get me out of here, Gennevieve," he asked, his French accent clear, "I'm not in the mood for this anymore."

She didnât have a crush on the doctor at all. Even if the other students like to tease her about it, Sophie would swear on her life that she would never develop feelings for a man as strange and awkward as Doctor Do. But still, he was a rather remarkable man and his intelligence was much more attractive than some bad boy smirk - which, admittedly, was all it took for her to fall head over heels for a guy a few years ago. About to slip her phone back into her coat pocket, she was surprised when it buzzed again - so he decided to reply.Â
[ Text: Wier ë ] Youâre a terrible liar, but Iâm sure someone had told you before. [ Text: Wier ë ] At least youâre not dead.
Her fingers paused over the keyboard. Usually manicured nails were bare and cut short; there was some vanity that she had had to give up but she didnât mind. It gave her more time to focus on the things that mattered - and that didnât include dating.
Though, of course, there was no way that Doctor Do meant it as a date, even if it sort of sounded like one.
[ Text: Wier ë ] Yeah, sure. I donât have other plans anyway. [ Text: Wier ë ] What did you have in mind?
( sms : Soap ) Iâve heard that approximately 8 times in my lifetime. (I think.) ( sms : Soap ) Congratulate me for not dying.
Relief washed over him like waves cast from the ocean, refreshed with the fact that she still talks to him that way. Sophie was still Sophie. A small woman with a sharp tongueâhostile yet accomodating. His thumb hovers over the screen, reeling up some ideas on how to bridge the small gap he had created between them. âShould we do this? Or that?â, he asked himself.
( sms : Soap ) I was thinking about that movie you asked about. Didnât you rent it out for the weekend? Or did you purchase a DVD copy of such? ( sms : Soap ) And Iâll bring some food or whatever. How about that?
Only a minute had passed without her replying, still, so he sends in a follow-up in case she wasnât in the mood for it. Or if she wasnât in the mood to do anything with him at all. His paranoia got the best of him.
( sms : Soap ) Or yeah, looking at those specimens of cyst formations in jars with formaldehyde at the 8th floor in that room I recently got access on could be good too, I guess. Your call.
[ text ] Congrats for living to frustrate us another day, Doctor. [ text ] Use your time well. His suggestion of the movie seemed like a decent idea and the prospect of being in a dark room with the man, even if it was her own living room, did make her heart skip a beat - not romantically, of course. Sophie assumed that it was more the thought of his unavoidably strange commentary that caused the heart irregularity. The French crime-horror film had just come out on DVD and her mother had sent it over from Paris, knowing how she loved the director and his skill of weaving complex, but logical, crimes and biological evidence. Of course, if anyone would find fault in the man's work, it would be Kyungsoo. Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, thinking of the most casual and cool-collected way to respond when Kyungsoo's next message arrived. She scoffed, close to tossing the phone out without even responding. The cyst formations? Romantic. Not that she wanted romance. [ text ] ... I've been looking at enough cysts. If you want to do that, get me during work hours not my breaks. [ text ] Movies it is. I have the DVD. I'll get wine to celebrate you being alive.

I have a gigantic crush on you and you called me on the phone while I was masturbating but I picked up anyway and you caught on to what I was doing but you didnât hang up??? Does this mean you like me??? Does this mean weâre gonna have phone sex???
Youâre a dancer and I come and watch you in your studio sometimes but today you did a really provocative dance and I donât want you to notice how turned on I am please donât come talk to me right now
We were joking around and you picked me up and spun me around with no trouble and I had no idea you were so strong is it weird how turned on I am by that fact?
I hid in your closet to scare you as a joke but when you came in you started masturbating and I canât just get up and leave but if I get caught in your closet youâll think Iâm a pervert I regret my life choices
Weâre roommates and we always look through each otherâs mail and I certainly was not expecting to find a vibrator when I opened your package how much time do I have to re tape this before you get home
I walked into the house to find you looking at the new vibrator I ordered and I tried to leave without you hearing me but I ran into the table by the door please just let me die of embarrassment
I bought dick popsicles as a joke but you look really hot how youâre sucking on that fuckÂ
You spanked me as a joke in front of our friends but it turned me on and now Iâm trying to find excuses to go run off and masturbate where I 100% definitely wonât think about you spanking me definitely not
I was teasing you and I called you vanilla and now Iâm laying with my hands and feet tied and a gag in my mouth and, shit, is that a vibrator?
(OT3) I maybe sort of accidentally got turned on while we were laying in the same bed and youâre both clinging onto me from either side and I donât want to upset you both by moving away but I donât want either of you to know that I got aroused while we were innocently cuddling. Help.Â

For @faithlessloyalties
Once the bartender brought over the two glasses, Sophie pushed one over to Hamin. An unreadable expression was on her face - not exactly upset but bothersome memories having been brought up by the drunken man that tried to hit on her earlier in the night. âAlcohol makes people pretty shitty,â she said with a sigh, âThereâs no other way of putting it. Back when I was a kid, I thought that that sort of behaviour was cool - you know? I was pretty wild back then. Not anymore, I guess.â
Haminâs not exactly the most encouraging listener, but he found out people liked to talk to him despite of that, as if the mere illusion of oneâs company was enough for them to open up. And itâs especially true with Sophie â itâs not the first time they end up sitting in the night club until late night hours (or early morning, depending on how one saw it), until the bar is filled mostly with drunks passing out in their seats or homeless trying to catch a nap in a warm place and the two of them. He tilted his head to her words. Surprisingly, he was listening this time. âIt is a lifestyle.â The male simply stated. âSociety makes them drink, they say. And itâs true. All the important decisions are made while alcohol is being poured in the background.â Thereâs a shrug, he really didnât care much, except for one little fact: drunk people were much more willing to part with their money.
People who didn't know Sophie back then were often surprised to find out what she used to be like - a high society socialite and acting starlet, she and her group of privileged brats knew nothing in the world but partying and spending. They wanted to be older than they actually were and, perhaps, that was why her and Zacharie's relationship was so troublesome. Even for teenagers. "A lifestyle? I'm not so sure about that," she responded, ironically nursing a beer, "So many alcoholics come through our hospital, all of whom frankly made their own decision to drink themselves into delusional dependency." Sophie sighed, eyes on the table. Hamin was a good listener, though he didn't share much, and she was rather comfortable speaking to him. Especially after a beer or two. "My exboyfriend drinks a lot," she confessed, "Well, I mean - I used to as well. We'd always end up fighting and hurting each other."
blxckend:
Of course, Zacharie had only expected so much. It was the main reason heâd never been able to really date an idol â their image meant too much and, comparatively, his antics were too much of a scandalous hazard. Somewhat adored by the gossip sites, there were so many photos and videos of his hard partying, womanising ways that no idol would be able to keep up. And yet. he treated a few people as exceptions to that. Taeyeon was one of them, the few whose cautious ways he did find a little endearing.
âDo you have to ruin my fun, mon canard? Rien ne sert d'ĂŞtre vivant s'il faut qu'on travaille,â the fluent French ran off his tongue like a melody and, really, Zacharie was much more charming when no one knew what he was saying, âBut fine, weâll do something nice and safe for you. Iâll sacrifice my evening of wild adventure for your managerâs blood pressure.â Reaching out a hand, he ruffled her hair softly before standing with a chuckle. There were places that they could go to in Seoul but, discounting all of the night clubs and bars that might have been much too dangerous for the women, there was only one place that was really worth going. Itâd been a long time since he last visited and, in his memory, Zacharie had only brought one girl up there many years ago â Sophie; the woman who was the start and the end to everything for him. Heâd always been hesitant about going back there since she left him but, well, Taeyeon wouldnât have been too bad.
âCome on,â he said, holding out his hand, âIâll surprise you. Get your things and Iâll meet you in the parking lot.â
Ever since she had met the man that was currently sitting in front of her with a smug expression on as if he was the owner of the place, Taeyeon was given the chance to break a few walls and get to know him better than people that classified him as trouble, fact that made her stay close even despite her principles and the shaking head of her managers. Underneath everything he might have put on as a mask or a protection shield, Zacharie was still a caring, sweet friend. That loved to tease her in french sometimes. French that the woman rarely understood, today not being the case.
Furrowing her delicate brows into a slight frown over her nose, the brunette stood up and brushed her clothes of invisible dust, but having to tilt her head backwards to watch him directly in his eyes. âYou know I love it when you call me⌠canard. But donât lecture me in french, I can barely take it in korean.â poking her index finger against his chest several times, she rose a brow in joking threat, then allowed a chuckle to fall of her lips. âHey, I can be an adventure too. Just not wild. And not too tiring.â a shrug moved her shoulder as the idol laced her slender arms around his middle to offer him a quick hug as a sign of her contentment, then with an almost enthusiastic nod, she hurried her steps inside to get her coat and purse.
He gave her a light pet on the head, a faint smile on his lips when he thought she couldn't see. She was incredibly endearing and, with that, Zacharie could understand why she was so popular. Even when he was younger, the Asian boys at his school were often fawning over SNSD - Taeyeon being the most in-demand of them all. Some of the boys had even started a petition to bring the group to the school, and the rich children could definitely afford it, but the demand was rejected by the administration. As she rushed away to get her things, Zacharie buried his hands into his coat and headed out to the parking lot himself. His car wasn't exactly hard to locate - a sleek, black luxury imported vehicle - the kind that even celebrities had difficulty affording though Chaebol kids were another story. With a cigarette between his lips and the window open, he waited. He was going to take her to a hotel, which might have surprised her but, for once, sex wasn't what he had in mind.
 ZACHARIE
He leaned forward, voice dropping as though he were telling her some sort of secret, though the smirk said otherwise, âI really, really donât give a shit.â Perhaps if Zacharie had had any interest in the film industry, then he would actually attempt to be decent at what he did. However, the thought of even being distantly involved in the same work that drove his father away from their family was enough to make his head hurt. Fashion was good, though he didnât enjoy being in the spotlight as a model either.
Turning away, he leaned back in his seat, gaze travelling out the window of his studio apartment. He seemed a little introspective for once and, when Zacharie spoke, his words were quiet, âYou know the only thing Iâm remotely interested in is music - and I refuse to pursue that professionally. If itâs a job, then Iâll hate it.â
ă ⥠ă ⌠*â                 FINE BUT WHY WAS she giving a shit now? Sometimes Hyorin wanted to slap herself for being so dumb. She thought that if she could help him, he would have a better image andâ no, she shouldnât care. Slowly, she straightened up again. It was probably for the better if she would stop worrying about people like Zacharie because, in the end, she would be the dumb one.
âGood, I will give up and not try again.â Her slender hands ran through her chestnut-colored hair. She just wasnât able to understand him. It was his life, he was having his interests but she was living differently. âSo what are you going to do today then?â She asked instead, her voice already calmer than before. If she has learned something, then that it wasnât worth to flip tables for longer than two seconds.
That was perhaps the most pleasant characteristic of Hyorin - she could get frustrated, absolutely detest the way that he chose to live his life, but she knew better than to meddle. Zacharie was stubborn to a fault, always had been, and who ever tried to change him seemed to only get the short end of the stick. "I'd appreciate that," he responded with a faint snicker, the corner of his lip curved. It was no surprise that the boy ended up a model, and an actor too though he insisted that his looks didn't translate so well in dramas. With his bad boy charm and bohemian rebel aura, it didn't take much for Zacharie to become the golden boy of fashion. So much that it made him rather lazy. "I'm not sure," he admitted, "There's a collection launch for Perla, but I'm not exactly interested." The club seemed a better choice; both had women but the latter were usually drunk.
blxckend
He didnât let go of her, regardless of how she struggled. Instead, toned arms wrapped around her as Zacharie held her against his chest, eyes closed as he tried to both control his frustration and work out another option - he had money, there was always an option. âYou calling when you get home doesnât mean bad shit canât happen on the way there,â he insisted, voice just a little softer, âCome on. Letâs go.â Releasing her, he instead took hold of her hand and led her back the way that they had originally came and back into the five star hotel.
âRoom for two; get me the presidential suite,â he told the reception, handing over his card before turning back to the girl. He hadnât asked but, then again, Zacharie was always assuming that the world revolved around his antics. âYou said you didnât want me to drive you home, so weâll go home tomorrow.â
â     âThere wonât happen anything on the wayâ, she protested, her home not far away, merely a few stations, a safe neighborhood, there had never been an incident, not even affecting him. Instead she was pulled, stumbling after him, too concentrated on not falling, not paying attention to the way, to where they went, eventually pulled into the warmth, finally looking up, faced with the earlier employee, telling her about the restaurant, not having expected such luxurios dinner. Now she didnât thank her, for the directions to the restaurant, glancing at the credit card, grabbing it, before the employee. âWe donât need a roomâ, she said, excusingly, turning to Zach, handing him the card again. âNo room, Iâll just go home now.â
He wondered whether she had always been so stubborn, honestly at wits end with the woman. Zacharie snatched the card out of her hand, his eyes narrowing as if to say - just listen to me. "Presidential," he repeated to the reception, the finality in his voice, "Now." Either way, they knew him well at the hotel. It was the place him and his parents had been staying at since he was only a child. In fact, there was a time when the younger Zacharie thought the Hilton was more home than home was. "Stop being so difficult," he sighed at her, shaking his head, "Stay, shower and sleep. You can get a cab home tomorrow or I'll call a chauffeur. You're not getting that train, not with wierdos all over Seoul."

       @blxckend once dancedâŚ
⥠   âNeither do I,â Zacharie grumbled, annoyed that heâd been put in this situation by his agency again, âYou watch; Iâm going to go on the broadcast and say all the shit they donât want me to. Just to piss them off.â
â     Her head immediately moved, looking at him, aroused by his words, blinking slowly, thinking back to that music rehearsal, years ago, the same cocky attitude, cause to their friendship. âDonâtâ, she finally said, turning on her chair, looking at him, eyeing his frame carefully. âIf you start doing bad things, how am I supposed to handle his interview? Iâm only here because of youâŚâ
"Ah, you just have to play along," he teased, leaning forward with a smirk on his lips, "If they ask how we met or if we get along, I'll tell a story of how I was being a dick, so you bent me over your knee and spanked my ass." Just the thought of how they might react amused him, even if it was unlikely they could do it, "Then afterwards, you just have to bring up something about a whip. It's like duo trolling."
Zacharie grumbled. It was clear that Albie knew nothing about his mother, though that wasnât surprising. He rarely spoke of her and, even when she was brought up, only ever said that she was in Paris and busy. âIâd much rather that she not,â he retorted, leaning back on his palms as he watched her try to hang the lights with amusement, âYou know, she only ever comes for three reasons: to tell me sheâs got a friendâs daughter she wants me to date, to shit on me for the people I do date or, and this is the most common, to try - yet again - to drag me back to Paris. Itâs rather infuriating.â
Albie blinks her eyes, a little guilty from bringing up the topic of her mother which she eventually regretted. âYou should have told her to come, and use me as a bait.â She responds in a joking manner. âIf thatâs the only way to drag her back here.â She adds, chuckling a little. âBut⌠do you want her to come? If itâll be a burden, I promise to do Christmas decorations with you every year.â
It was a conflicting question. Zacharie hated his mother - the woman was a guilt tripping control freak who knew nothing but fame and fortune. But, at the same time, she was his mother and, growing up, all he had ever wanted to be was good enough for her. "Not exactly," he answered, itching for a cigarette now that the topic was brought up, "She's a pain in my ass. The decorations are always wrong, apparently, but it looks weird if there's nothing there." He hated to be a grinch but, truth be told, Zacharie had never cared for Christmas. His mother only wanted to celebrate it for the Instagram posts. "I don't even like Christmas," he sighed, "Thank fuck she's staying in the hotel. I'll be damned if she sleeps here. Ever."

âI know itâs really handy to have a friend who is a doctor, but you canât come to me for everything,â she sighed, closing the fridge as she tossed a bottle of water to the male, âA hangover; thatâs my diagnosis. You have a hangover and you need water.â It was late in the afternoon already but, for someone like Sophie who worked overnight most of the time, she was still half asleep.
Daehyun frowned as he caught the bottle that was thrown to him. He uncapped it and took a swig, brows furrowed as the pounding in his head got worse. âOh come on, Soph, youâre the only one I can rely on.â He made his way to the couch and buried his face in one of the cushions. âDâyou mind me crashing here for a bit?â
She groaned. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate Daehyun - he was a good friend - but that didn't change that fact that she'd been working on call for the past 36 hours and needed a break from humanity. "Fine, but I'm not taking care of you," Sophie responded, pulling the curtains shut to darken the room, "There's water in the fridge, snacks in the cupboard and unless you cut your foot off, don't wake me."
For @roseblxd
âYouâre too young to be hanging out with us guys,â Zacharie chuckled, reaching over to ruffle the girlâs hair, âYou know what I was doing at your age? I was⌠Shit, nah I think I was doing the same thing.â He wasnât quite sure how much heâd been drinking nor make cigarettes heâd smoked but, once Zacharie got comfortable at the back of the club, it was hard to get him to leave. A few other of his friends were half present, models and actors much too focused on the other girls that littered the establishment.
she hit the mans hand away when he ruffled her hair âyou donât need to treat me like my 12, Iâve been in places like this since i was 16âł she said in a small giggle. she took the cigarette that the other was smoking and took a long drag from it. âdonât act like you donât love me being here, itâs better than hanging out with all them people. Iâm young yeah, but iâm way more fun than themâ she said in a slightly flirtatious tone of voice. she blew smoke out into the air before she placed the cigarette between his lips again.Â
He scoffed at her actions, amused and unwilling to admit that he was somewhat worried for the young girl. Zacharie was well screwed over and there was no saving him from the mess he'd become, but she was still young and capable of change. "You only win because they have no sense of humour," he teased, teeth holding onto the cigarette, "So the competition isn't exactly tough."
He could tell that she was flirting with him; it wasn't a rare occurrence and Zacharie thrived in it. Flattered as he was though, he was still unable to see the girl as more than a younger sister - a child much too eager to grow up. "Don't you have elsewhere to be? Study academy?" he chuckled, leaning back to take another drag of his smoke, out of the girl's reach, "Or friends your own age?"

His voice was heard first - boyish but masked with the rasp of his nicotine addiction. It cut through the quiet tension of the studio before the first chord was heard, slow and heavy. As with every song that he wrote, they were all heavy drenched in emotions - usually pain and self loathing. It was what he was best at.
Retracting his hand, Zacharie watched Ahyeon in silence, looking out for any change in her expression. He had been working on the song for well over two months, constantly tweaking and rewriting. The idea of being a burden to someone, of holding her back with his own issues - it meant a lot to him. It was only when the final arpeggio played, ending the track, that he made a move to pause it. âWell?â
Authenticity was key. Real emotions. Real experiences. Thatâs what made music an art. She could appreciate his music even if was heavy. It was more sincere than singing something churned out. A formula of a successful song. Purely trendiness.
Her expression was no longer cheerful but reverent. The notes were still heavy on her shoulders. This was why she never encouraged his modeling: all this would be wasted. It would stay locked in Zacharieâs mind or in hard drive for no one else to hear. Pure dust. Hidden. âWow.â She chuckled gently and finally opened her eyes. âThat was starting off slowly? I donât understand how you can work on something that heavy for a long time⌠How long have you worked on it?â More importantly, how long ago did those thoughts become strong enough to be lyrics?
He watched her attentively, a part of him desperately wanting her approval but another - his pride - telling him that it was stupid to seek another personâs opinion. He didnât write music for mass consumption and, even if a few of his songs veered towards a popular genre, it was only ever self indulgent. He refused to commercialize his music, to make the one part of him that was his own into his parentsâ legacy.
âFor a while,â he responded with a shrug, âWell, around eight weeks to be exactly - give or take a few days.â Part of his was proud of it, thinking that he mustâve seemed cool; a brooding, emotional, suffering artist. But then he remembered that he was anything but. Just a child with a black credit card. âI saw her recently,â he admitted, pretending to busy himself with the computer screen, âSophie. She looked good.. in a worn out, stick up the ass bitch sort of way.â
blxckend:
He shrugged, a smirk on his lips, âWell, I like all of them. You canât deny me the pleasure of taking you out in every single dress â it just means that weâll have to do this more often.â Most of the others girls heâd taken out would have expected to be showered by Zacharie Kwon but, of course, heâd somehow taken interest in the one girl who seemed hesitant. It was refreshing though, and he wasnât planning on letting it stop her anyway. The assistants had already taken the dresses to be packed and couriered back to his apartment; after all, he was a regular and they knew he took his girls home.
âYou know weâre not done yet, right?â Zacharie added, gesturing across the street - Manolo Blahnik and Cartier, âYou canât go there with no shoes and all right?â
Stephanie had her lips parted and arms outstretched, ready to stop the employees from taking all the dresses but before she could even utter a word, her inner voice stopped her. Donât make their job harder than it already is. And with that, her mouth snapped shut and she dropped her arms to her sides. She looked back to Zacharie, her bottom lip near trembling as her voice came out in barely a whisper, âDummyâ.
Somehow, her excitement had turned into nervousness. As they sat in the car, driving their way to the venue, Stephanie fidgeted with her fingersâ she could feel that her hands were getting clammy. The last thing she wanted to do was embarrass Zacharie in front of these celebutantes. The brunette had begun singing softly to distract herself from her own thoughts as she stared absent-mindedly out the window.Â
A tiny smile curved the corners of his lips, eyes fixed out of the heavily tinted windows but secretly listening in on the singing female. If Zacharie didnât hate being a celebrity so much, he might have encouraged her to follow a musical career - even get her signed quite easily, but heâs much prefer to keep her vocal ability to himself. âAre you excited?â he asked, glancing over, âYou look stunning, you know.â He didnât give out compliments lightly but, part of which he attributed to his own impeccable taste, Stephanie did look like a celebutante in her own right - perfectly fitting gown, one of the newest Manolos on her feet and her necklace and bracelet; sparkling, elegant and with a combined price tag of a decent apartment.
âIâll have to take you out more often,â Zacharie teased, holding out his hand to her just as they pulled up, âAfter tonight, I think theyâll start asking me who you are.â
