it took you two days to realize how much heeseung loved you. he never said it, you deemed it was because you both were friends. best friends at that. best friends weren't supposed to fall in love yet that's what happened.

two days ago heeseung was drying your hair after a shower you desperately needed. it had rained that day and you begged heeseung to come play outside with you. it mightve been then that you realized you loved him too.

heeseung used your blow dryer to dry your hair. his fingers gently ran through your hair softly as the warm air blew against your scalp. he made sure that you hair was all dry before turning the blow dryer off and brushing out the tangles one last time.

he looked so content doing your hair. if someone would've walked in on you they would've thought it was a normal occurrence. they would've been fooled into thinking your six year friendship was something more.

the next day heeseung came over to your apartment, fast food bags in his hand. when you opened the door for him he lifted the bags with a soft smile placed in his face. "hungry?" he asked in a soft tone. of course you were hungry, you'd never skip a meal with heeseung.

that evening had been eventful. giggles faded into the air as heeseung told you his horrible horrible dad jokes. smiles were placed on both your faces that night. you noticed something in heeseungs eyes as he looked at you. was it fondness, affection, or was it all your imagination? you didn't know. you thought you'd never figure it out.

you hadn't seen heeseung today but you were dying to. you had finally figured out his feelings for you. he didn't have to tell you he loved you for you to know he did. it was all so obvious yet you were so blind you missed all the signs.

those days he held you as you cried to some silly drama and screamed at the evil characters, those were the days you wanted to relive with heeseung. but just without the friend title.

you wanted to live those with the lovers title. you wanted everyone to know how much you meant to heeseung and how much he meant to you. you wanted to share the most simplest moments with him.

you wanted to brush your teeth and wash your face before going to bed with him. you wanted to sing karaoke with him in your small living room, giggling as your voice cracks on the high note.

you wanted him to teach you how to dance the most intricate dance just so his body could be pressed to yours and end up slow dancing in the silent evening. you wanted him to know how foolish you were not picking up on his hints. you wanted him to know you loved him.

a soft ring of your phone interrupted your train of thought. you searched for your phone on the couch, finally finding it and looking at the ID.

a smile made its way on your lips as you answered the phone. but it was quickly swiped off when you heard what heeseung said. "can you open the door, i've been knocking for the past five minutes."

immediately you ran to the front door, opening it up just to see the person you wanted to see the most. "hi." he said, a perfect smile laced onto his lips. you smiled before stepping back to let him in.

"what are you doing here?" you didn't think just seeing heeseung would make your heart do flips but i guess you were wrong.

"can i not come see my best friend?" he asked with a smirk on his lips. your face flushed but it all fell down when you registered his last two words.

you just wanted him to ask you out already. you wanted him to pull you in his arms and kiss your forehead.

maybe it was because you had thought long and hard about the fact that he loved you, but you muttered some words you never thought you would say out loud.

"am i just a best friend to you?" okay, that was not good. heeseungs face fell the second you finished your question. you heard him shuffle in front of you, not allowing yourself to look at him.

"what do you mean?" he asked with a shaky voice. you could hear the way his voice shook as he answered you with a question.

"you think of me more than a friend, right?" you noticed the way heeseungs adams apple moved up and down as he gulped. you noticed the way his ears turned a bright red.

"where did you hear that?" he asked with an awkward laugh. you felt your heart stop for a second. he looked nervous and you hated it.

"you can tell me, im not one who would stop being your friend, you know that, right?" heeseung nodded. he looked down and took a deep breath.

"i do... uh i do think of you as more than a friend—" he took another breath before raising his eyes to meet your eyes. "—but i didn't tell you because i thought you'd leave. i can't live without you. you mean way too much to just have you walk out of my life."

you stopped breathing. hearing the words fall from his lips made everything feel real. you took a shaky breath before stepping forward.

"me too." you smiled softly. "i think of you more than a friend. i realized when you dried my hair the other day." you looked down, fingers playing with each other.

"i'd like to try with you." you whispered. you heard heeseung take a breath in. "only if you want." you added, scared of his response. heeseung took your hand in his and stepped forward. "then we should try."

the soft smile on his face spoke millions of words. everything was gonna be okay. you smiled happily and crushed him in big a hug.

you stare at your phone, watching the video of some girl make slime. it brought back so many memories of when you were younger. you always tried to master the art of making slime, and you did master it. but suddenly the whole smile era ended and now, nobody really talks about it.

this video was reccomended to you and with nothing to do or watch you decided why not. you snack on some gummies heeseung had bought you a few days ago while watching the girl play with the pink slime. she says its so fluffy and soft and it brings you back to your childhood again, but suddenly those memories fly away when heeseung sits next to you.

"what are you doing?" he asks while wrapping his arms around your waist. he places his head on your shoulder and looks at your phone screen. you hear a small laugh escape his lips before he looks at you.

"why are you watching that?" you shrug and shift a bit. "oh you know, reminiscing my childhood memories." you lean against heeseung, letting him see your screen better. "oh and im eating the gummies you bought me, want some?"

heeseung shakes his head. his eyes land on the trace of your lips. you were just so perfect, so delicate. he loved pressing kisses against your lips. your lips were the definition of home to him. it might sound cheesy but it is what it is.

heeseung sometimes finds himself wanting to kiss you when he's stressed. just a small peck will do. he finds himself wanting to kiss you when he's happy. in his mind a longer kiss is better but if you pull away before he wants to he'll be content with the kiss he got.

so now, you reminiscing your old memories makes heeseung feel like he wants to kiss you. you have such a soft look right now. you hair is a bit messy, you're wearing his sweatshirt, and your wearing some sweats. you look really cuddly and heeseung just really wants to kiss you.

he leans closer to your face, not kissing you yet but close enough to press his lips against the tips of your mouth. you can feel his breath running against your cheek to your lips. you feel your cheeks flush, knowing exactly what heeseung is gonna do.

you take it upon yourself and turn around so your faces are right in front of each other. heeseung's faces flushes in surprise. you were never one to initiate a kiss. yeah, maybe you'd give him a peck on the cheek (on the lips if he's lucky) before you leave for work but that was different.

you slowly tilt your head and press your lips on his softly. you only like the soft kisses, nothing to crazy. and for your first time initiating a kiss, you wanted it to be the best kiss heeseung has ever had.

you slowly move your lips against his, moving your body so you can sit more comfortably. you feel heeseung smile against your lips before he takes control of your lips. he wraps an arm around your waist, the other on your neck, tilting you up so he can kiss you more.

one thing you noticed when kissing heeseung was the way he kisses. he let's himself go when he kisses you. he shows how much he loves you and even though no words are exchanged you know everything he's trying to tell you.

he holds you close as if you're gonna fly away. he knows you wont but the closer he is to you the better. when he pulls away he rests his forehead to yours. you often this he's trying to tell you he loves you again because his eyes always find yours and a smile always draws itself on his lips.

it's an image you wont ever forget. he's so beautiful, like an angel. he glows when he's with you. he glows with love.

"you kissed me first." he whispers, his lips barely touching yours. he pulls his forehead away from yours and looks at you with a shy expression, only you know he's anything but shy.

he pretends to put his hair behind his ear as he blinks quickly. "you kiss me first." he repeats in a shy voice. his eyes meet yours and he let's a smirk fall on his lips. you shoved him with your foot and scoot away from him.

"shut up." you turn your phone on again to watch your slime video but heeseung quickly takes it away. "did you really want to kiss me that bad?" you feel your cheeks flush at his words but you dont want to give into his teasing.

"not really, you were just there. it seemed as if you wanted to kiss me that bad." you notice heeseungs face falter for only a second. he puts his teasing expression back on his face and scoots closer to you.

he makes a kissy face while leaning in. "kiss me again." he says with his lips in a pout. you put your finger on his forehead and push him back. "let me watch my slime video, go away."

heeseung shakes his head. "not until you kiss me again, i know you really want to." he leans in again, his lips ghosting yours. "please? just one more." you roll your eyes and peck his lips.

"there, now go." heeseung smiles and gets up. "im writing this on the calendar, we're celebrating it every year." you chuckle at your boyfriend. maybe kissing him wasn't so bad, especially if he acts this happy.

🎬 노트 && . im not completely back, again writers block is killing me and so is school. so much stuff has happened these past few weeks. on the bright side i had a dream about hee last night, it was about him kissing me :D it wasnt quite like this but my dream inspired me so here we are!

“coffee break?” a figure sat on your desk, leaning forward to meet your face. heat crept on your cheeks as the figure leaned closer pressing his lips to your cheek. your eyes widened slightly. “don’t do that, heeseung!” you whisper yelled. 

you were in a secret relationship with heeseung, although he didn’t really keep it a secret. instead, he winked at you, he always got way too close to be called friendly, and he was always seen with you. what can you say, he’s whipped.

“why not? i can kiss my girlfriend if i want to.” a pout formed on his lips. “plus, no ones here, they’re taking a lunch right now.” you looked around to make sure no one could’ve seen the small kiss heeseung gave you. “you’re lucky.”

heeseung chuckled. “you never answered my question.” you tilted your head, a smile appearing on your face as you met his eyes. “i have time. plus im a little hungry.” you placed your hand over your stomach. 

“great! let’s head to the lobby!” confusion filled your face. “the lobby? i thought you meant the break room!” you whined, knowing you didn’t have that much time. “you said you were hungry which means i’m gonna buy you something to eat, now lets go.”

you huffed, sliding your chair back. “before we go i need to file some papers.” heeseung nodded, standing up. “as long as you eat lunch with me.” you chuckled, grabbing the papers from your desk. “you’re whipped.” you said, with a soft smile. 

“how did you know?” heeseung placed a finger on his chin, looking up to the sky. “it’s not that obvious is it?” you bursted out laughing. “not at all.” heeseung hummed and followed you to file the papers.

once you were done filing your papers you went to the lobby with heeseung. some people were in line to order some coffee. you stood behind the last person and turned to heeseung. 

“why’d you want to have coffee in the lobby?” you crossed your arms and blinked waiting for heeseung to answer. “so i can get miss workaholic away from her computer.” you furrowed your brows shooting a glare to heeseung. 

you heard him chuckle next to you. you knew he wanted to hug you and for once you wanted him to give you a hug at your workplace. the only reason you have a secret relationship is because you’re very close with your coworkers and you know they’ll tease you nonstop.

a comfortable silence fell between you and heeseung. you watched many workers pass around like little ants working hard and trying their best. you smiled knowing they were doing their best for this company. 

“what do you want to eat?” heeseung spoke, breaking the silence. you looked at the menu. “grilled chicken with vegetables.” you noticed heeseung scrunching his face a bit. “why are you making that face?” heeseung shook his head. “its nothing.” 

“tell me!” you whined, gently punching his shoulder. “the vegetables.” you scoffed in disbelief. “you’re just like a little kid.” heeseung leaned closer to your face. “maybe i am one.” he smiled brightly, tilting his head slightly. 

you pushed him back softly. “whatever. we’re up next, you know what to order right?” heeseung nodded. you patted his shoulder, walking to a table to sit at. you watched heeseung order with a smile on your face. that same smile dropped when you noticed the girl flirting with heeseung.

you glared at her even though she would never notice. heeseung walked to your table after he finished ordering. “why do you look upset?” he asked while pulling out a chair to sit with you. “i don’t know, why don't you ask yourself?” heeseung widened his eyes. 

“that girl! she was flirting with you.” you pouted, looking down and playing with your fingers. heeseung grinned, grabbing your hands. “jealous much?” you pulled your hands from his. a glare and pout playing on your face. 

heeseung chuckled. he watched you with loving eyes. suddenly, your order was called, leaving you alone again. you noticed the girl slip heeseung a piece of paper. you sent another glare at her and waited for heeseung to sit back down.

“give me that paper.” heeseung gave it to you and watched you rip it. he tried to hold his laugh back, you were cute when you were jealous.

“coffee break?” heeseung asked you for the second time that day. you looked up at his figure. “as long as it’s not in the lobby.” heeseung nodded, knowing that would be your answer. “don’t worry, it’s in the break room.” you smiled and stood up. “i need a coffee break anyway.”

heeseung chuckled, following you to the break room. no one was in there meaning you were alone with heeseung. you should’ve know he would’ve tried to pull something. 

as soon as he closed the door he was against you, placing his chin on your shoulder. “what if someone walks in?” you questioned, pouring cream into your coffee. “i’m sure everyone know we’re together at this point, it’s so obvious.” you glanced at heeseung. “i wonder why.”

heeseung smiled innocently. “it’s because you’re whipped for me obviously.” you shook your head, fighting the smile threatening to come out. “i think it’s the other way around.” heeseung wrapped his arms around you, turning you to face him.

“okay, maybe it is but you’re really obvious too.” you cocked your head to the side. “less than you though.” heeseung groaned, placing his head on your shoulder. “i cant help the fact im in love with you.” your heart started pounding in your chest. you didn’t know what to say so you opted to say nothing. instead, you enjoyed him being in your arms.

you stayed like that for a little while until heeseung picked his head up. he gave you a silly smile before pressing his lips on yours for a soft peck. you giggled against his lips, pressing your lips to his again. 

“i love you too.” you whispered, a smile complimenting your features. heeseung leaned against you, holding you like you were the most valuable thing to exist. 

suddenly the door opened causing you and heeseung to separate. your coworker, jake, jumped up and down pointing at the two of you. 

“I KNEW IT!!”
