Hi and sorry for the late response!

Congrats on starting your writing journey! I am no expert but I would suggest looking at the source material and certain characters you want to write about.

For example, I will use Twisted Wonderland since I write for that now. I don't use Y/N but the game's character, Yuu, who basically is Y/N but has some characteristics. I look at how characters interact with Yuu, how Yuu interacts with them, and use that as my baseline.

Sometimes I will take one thing about a character (ex: Lilia being chaotic) and let my imagination run from there. That's how one of my first popular pics started.
