Mirror mirror black as pitch,

reveal to me my inner witch.

Monday Mood-Lifters.

Yesterday I took the three; The three that had been dear to me, Up to the twisted, gnarled beech tree. And then we sat.

I talked of times that made me glad, Of times we shared; of times we had, I talked of times that made me sad, And then I dug.

I listened to the forest’s sound, And dropped their ashes to the ground, I felt the love from all around. And then I wept.

I held that beech and asked it true, To house my cats and spare a few Spirit mice to feed them, too. And then I left.
