I enjoy City Barbecue. Itâs not the best barbecue Iâve ever had, but itâs solid and VERY consistent. But I think they must have raised prices because I just spent almost $20 on a brisket sandwich, fries and a drink. Thatâs way too much for a meal I get from a counter! I saw the Hadestown proshot on Saturday and Iâm so glad I waited to listen to the OBCR and avoided specific info about the show. Despite knowing the ending, it was still so moving (even more moving when you know the ending). The cinematography also added so much to the show and the lighting/staging was incredible.
I know itâs been extended in theaters, so if you havenât seen it yet I canât recommend it enough! And if you havenât seen seen it before, go see it again.
After almost four weeks of foot pain, I decided to actually make a podiatry appointment. I suspect itâs plantar fasciitis, but I need to do something about the pain, even if it means PT.

It's something I love to ask mixed-aged groups sometimes because I think it's really interesting to see the responses. I've gotten answers from the Olympics of [whatever year] to Watergate to more recent stuff from my niblings.
My first news thing I remember is the OJ Simpson trial. I vaguely remember watching the news with my grandparents before that, but that's the first story I remember, in part because my second grade teacher had us go play so she could watch the verdict đ

There really is nothing quite like watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in a classic movie theater (Wurlitzer organ included!) with 800 other people. There were several people who had never seen the movie before and it was great to hear the gasps during the reveals! Also, there was clapping when Indy said, âNazis; I hate those guysâ.
