My project so far for Ludum Dare 30. The theme is "Connected Worlds". Para (the blue guy) is stuck in white space, and Lell (the pink gal) is stuck in black space. They can both exist in gray space, and they must reunite to win the levels.

A stressful day, trying to fit in some development time during work, and I have to be at work in 5 hours, so I’m going to try to get some sleep.

But I finished my game for the Ludum Dare, 48-hour game making competition! The theme was “Beneath the surface”. You are a small girl that jumps in a puddle and gets trapped in an underwater world.

It might be a little buggy, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I hit some hurdles today... I'm going to cut it pretty close.

It's still coming along. Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to create the actual game part of it. Most of the gameplay works correctly, but I need to add some actual content (level design, and some enemies).

There is a very basic version of the game available here. There's really nothing to do yet, but you can get a feel for it.

I'm probably going to bed to build a level editor before I go much further...

It took me twenty minutes to realize the reason I wasn't able to jump was because the velocity wasn't higher than the gravity. :)
