Yooo it's ya girl Blues, back at it again with the 1-note flop posts, a solidly mediocre portfolio of drawings, earnest cringe, and a handful of fics over on AO3.

Forever shy about posting even after all these years, but I love characters and stories and seeing the heart people pour into them too much to not to put my stuff out there too, on the off chance it inspires somebody else to do the same. Plus I just really love drawing!

I do love the concept of Human!Aster being Aboriginal, but I wasn't confident in my ability to both reinterpret his original design and code for a specific culture in a single drawing, especially because so much of culture is not strictly visual, you know?

My knowledge of Australia in general is pretty limited, so I'd have to do some more research if I was going to dive into that concept in earnest to do it justice. Like, for his tattoos, they're basically just a copy of the markings on his fur and the pattern on his bracers; I didn't try to emulate any traditional or irl cultures body art stylings, but it might be possible to do so respectfully. I don't usually do human AU stuff so it's probs a one-off thing for me, but if anyone is up for it, they're welcome to use anything they like from my interpretation and run with it :)

Had a small breakdown in the hospital parking lot yesterday (I'm fine dw) so I drew out this very cheesy headcanon that Shads has lil red paw pads that look like hearts to make me feel better. It worked :D
