In this AU, Ghost and Soap got separated after being ambushed by a hoard of zombies. Soap thought he was dead until a couple years later he’s ambushed again by a hoard, Ghost, now a hybrid of zombie and human, coming to his aide.

Soap is terrified at first, thinks Ghost is going to eat him, but it soon becomes clear that Ghost is protecting him, still his Simon even in this new form.
