Me on April 24th: my sister is finally bringing the switch home today, and I really want to play tomodachi life! I already have the outline and story beats for Chapter 25, so I’m sure I can get it written by next Sunday

Becomes obsessed with playing for a whole week: oh no

Gets hit with three back to back nonstop work days (medical transport) and ends up working 8 extra hours across those three already-8 hour work days: oh no

Goes back down to college for commencement and graduation and to say emotional goodbyes to the people who’ve shaped me for the past 4 years, only staying sober for the actual ceremonies and going buck wild in celebration:

Sister comes home from college but I’d been using her room as storage for my stuff as I redo my room, so we have to lock in, take apart old furniture, prime and paint the walls, and rip up the carpet, which takes much longer than I anticipated:
