Long story short, I got this book, Pokecology. (It's the official english release).

And yeah, they have a passage on Sylveon. But it's categorized under the section about Pokémon and how they hunt for food.

Shen Qingqiu: --and the progression of the plot makes no sense at all; the villain's motivations are completely inane and she could have achieved her goals so easily if she had used the poison on the king instead; the entirety of the last twenty chapters was obviously just a convoluted set-up for the scene where the protagonist saves the princess--

Luo Binghe: You could tell that the chicken they served at that inn wasn't marinated at all. The meat was dry as bone. The cook should be fed to the pigs for the affront to that poor bird. And the xiaolongbao were obviously at least a day old. Does he think no one would notice that he's feeding his customers old food? Pathetic. Anyone could taste that.
