Looking at my masterlist like damn. I wonder who my favorite is.
Currently wasting away with the worst stomach ache ever so you know what that means.
Imagine struggling with the aftermath of eating Lilia's cooking.
What brought you to do it? God knows. Probably the puppy eyes and your unwillingness to reject him when he seemed so proud of his work. A mistake you will never make again.
While you're laying in bed clutching your stomach as you rethink every decision you've ever made in life, Lilia is brewing up a concoction that he claims will pep you right up again. However seeing as one of his creations was the cause of your misery.. you're not sure whether to trust him.
So when he crouches down next to you and holds up a spoonful of a bright purple and oddly jiggling liquid, you keep your mouth firmly shut.
"Come now, this right here has successfully healed Silver from many illnesses in his childhood. It is a foolproof recipe for good health, trust me."
But you stubbornly shake your head. As you said before, you wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
That is until Lilia looks at you with widened eyes and a slight pout.
"Please, trust me."
Ah fuck. Puppy eyes.
Even in this state you can't bring yourself to say no to him like that, so you begrudgingly open your mouth and let him feed you a spoonful of.. whatever that was.
Lo and behold. Once you're over the intense bitterness, your stomach finally quiets down. You even find yourself able to sit up again.
"See? I have treated so many stomamch aches before yours, you could call me an expert!"
You take a mental note and change the vow you made; from now on you will never trust anything he makes other than medicine.
You just gotta work on resisting the puppy face.
It was a quiet night. Starry and bright, with only the light illuminating you two.
The night sky is serene. Untouched by the lights from cities.
This cottage had become home to you.
But so had the person next to you.
Maybe it was the coolness of the night.
Maybe it was the warmth he provided from both his body and his shared coat.
But you couldn’t help the word escaping while encased in comfort.
“Mine.”
Mumbled half asleep.
Not a question.
A statement.
“I’m yours,” he whispered.
You mumble incoherently, turning to kiss him on his collarbone.
You try to pull him closer, still half asleep.
He knows, as he always does, you’re his as much as he is yours.
The Four Times Lilia’s Little Ones Picked Him Up
Thinking about this post and how at one point the boys must have been able to pick Lilia up much to his surprise.
Malleus Draconia: Lilia only had limited time with Malleus, so it would be quite a shock for him when Malleus in his excitement, runs to him, picks him up, and excitedly yells “let’s go plaayyy! I was waiting for you!”
A part of him feels a pang at missing so much of his growth, but he’ll happily play with Malleus for however long he can.
Silver Vanrouge: With Silver it took awhile to get used daytime hours, humans ran on different time than night fae. It wore Lilia out for a time.

A little thought as I work on my motivation to write proper pieces again
Malleus as a romantic... he's very aware of the cultural differences between the two of you and does his best to court you in a way that honors your heritage as a human. You'll often find him consulting Lilia or hitting up the library, looking for the best ways to show his affection.
Through this he picked up the habit of gifting you flowers! He's spent a lot of time studying their meanings, specifically human interpretations, so the bouquets he puts together are always exquisite and deliberate. Of course he also knows to include your personal favorites ^_^ he has them all memorized
It doesn't end with bouquets tho. Think of using his magic to craft flower crowns, conjuring the prettiest petals to make you smile, or simply tucking a single flower behind your ear or in your hair - Malleus finds flowers a perfect way to bond and communicate his feelings.
