Trembling hands hadn’t anticipated the coolness of the metal door handle. She was too wrapped up in thoughts about what was on the other side. It was the first day of training and Blossom didn’t have the first clue on how to wield a weapon. She couldn’t even imagine what the intimidating doorway held behind it and she wished she could run in the other direction, avoiding the cruelty bestowed upon her altogether. It was like every bone in her body would freeze the closer she got to her fate. Fear was all she felt and it was so overwhelming that she could feel her chest start to tighten. “I’m sorry, I know I must be in your way.” After a few moments of heavy breathing, she noticed the other beside her and stepped away from the source of her anxiety. It was embarrassing to say the least but bringing herself to truly accept this was beyond what she could muster at the moment. “I don’t even know how to fight. If they needed a nice blouse; done. But this?” The question was left with another deep breath as the brunette tried her best to get out of her own head.
