Blossoming Up And Onwards

I may not know who you are and may not be struggling with the same things as you, but I’m rooting for you and I know you’ll get through whatever it is that’s holding you down at the moment. As one human being to another, I love you and I’m wishing you all the best life has to offer! 😌💛

Isn’t it amazing how letting go of certain people and spending time apart from them, in time, can change your whole perspective on life? Doesn’t the world feel a little brighter? Life wasn’t meant to be lived in darkest. As I always say, the world needs your shine. ☀️✨

The more organized your work space is, the easier it will be to focus. Being unorganized can lead to mental clutter, not just physical clutter. Trying to work in a disorganized environment can cause problems in work productivity and flow. If you have the time, take it and clean up your work space. It will be worth it.

Self-care typically looks like/is branded as bubble baths, face mask, etc., but self-care is also about/should be about more than that. Self-care does look like that/should look like that, but it should also be balanced with taking care of your needs. Does the car need an oil change or tune-up? Does the lawn need mowing? Do the clothes need to washed? Does the pantry/fridge need to be restocked? Life is truly about balance and self-care is no different. Needs and wants are both important and taking care of both is what self-care (taking care of self) is all about.

When you feel disconnected from the things you enjoy, it may be because you aren’t connected to yourself. Sometimes being around the wrong people and taking on what others want for our lives can cause disconnect within ourselves which leads to feeling all around not who we were born to be. There’s nothing wrong with who you are. Slowly but surely I hope you can find your way back to who you truly are or any others words, find your way back home to yourself. 💛

You know you’re ready to date/be in a relationship when you don’t care whether you’re alone or on a date come February 14th (Valentine’s Day). Being able to be on your own/being comfortable on your own is one of the biggest signs you’re ready for a relationship. Being comfortable on your own isn’t just attractive to others, but it’s also a huge sign you don’t need another person to complete you. Relationships should be one part of your life, not your whole life.

Taking time for your needs is just as important as taking time for your wants. It’s all about balance.

Turning pain into purpose leads to meaning. I truly believe pain isn’t meant to be held in. Someone else may need to hear what you have to say.

Get out of other people’s heads and get into your own. What other people think or want for your life doesn’t concern you. They’re not the one’s living your life.

Be so in love with yourself, your interest, and your life in general that what others do, want, need, and feel doesn’t concern you.

Sometimes temporary sacrifices may be necessary in order to achieve long term goals, though it may not feel easy to make them at first. The best way to look at it is to think about a month, six months, or a year from now, think about how happy and accomplished you will feel once you achieve your goals.

Love yourself first above all things and people so that you can evaluate people and situations better. It’s great to have compassion and understanding for others, but it can get messy trying to have those things for others when you aren’t putting yourself first. It may lead to toleration of harmful and not ok behaviors. When you put yourself first, you’re able to see things more clearly and see who truly has your back as much as you have theirs. 💚

Beware of the hollow relationships in your life. Some people have great charisma and charm on the outside, but lack depth on the inside. Some people can put on an act to look good and gain attention, but behind closed doors, who they are is a whole different story; one that lacks depth, connection, compassion, understanding, and genuine support.

Work hard now so you won’t have to work as hard later on/in the future.

Sometimes misunderstandings occur. The best thing to do for yourself is ask questions and get clarification on what the other person meant. Even if what they say may not be true and could be a cover up, at least you displayed respect for yourself and asked questions instead of just letting your thoughts and emotions fester within you.

Embrace who you are, whoever that might be. The world doesn’t need more of the same, it needs you for you. It can be scary to step out of a certain comfort zone, but the world needs you as you are. If everyone was the same, this world would be boring. Think of all the famous actors and actresses, imagine if they played it safe in life and didn’t perform all the quirky characters we love. This world would be a sad, boring place.
